DAD Hawaiian shirt

Hey,

I was wondering if ANYONE out there can help me out. In Die Another Day when Bond visits Havana, he wears a very sharp blue Hawaiian shirt, and I was wondering if anyone out ther could tell me what kind of shirt it is, the type, make, company that makes it, where I can buy one...whatever.

Thanks

I kind of doubt EON used Walmart for the shirt....maybe you mean one like it?

Yeah, a shirt like the one used in DAD. That's what I meant...I was being funny. You know, that's when someone goes "ha ha ha ha"

    Quoting carver97:
    Try Wal*Mart :)
    :))

Sorry, but that is seriously funny! James Bond buying his shirts in Wal-Mart. . . . If that was the case, MI6 probably was cutting the budget just a smidgeon. ;)

Oh, so that's what funny is....thanks for the explanation.

it is not unknown for bond to wear high street clothing the blue linen shirt in the saigon tnd scenes came from the now defunct high street chain c and a...this was highlighted in a bbc clothes show report prior to the films release...i went to my local branch and bought one for the princely sum of ten pounds...although the film versions buttons were altered by the clothes designer on the film...

That would be a great find! I always wanted one of those blue shirts he wore in TND.....GREAT score!

Yes, I teach a class during the summer on humor. Maybe you should stop by.

Anyway, I'm sorry if I cofused anyone. When I said "Try Wal*Mart", I was joking. I was trying to make people laugh. Obviously, someone took me seriously. Sorry for the confusion.

I have a shirt similar to that. It doesn't seem THAT special to me at all. Try checking the end credits, whether the production team is thankful for somebody, like Hawaiian Shirt supplied by... etc.

Hey Carver, judging by your picture, I think you should probably crawl back into Mommy's basement and drop the subject already. I know the kids in junior high must pick on you quite a bit but let's keep it civil here. :)

    Okay, Mr. Mantis...

Obviously you have no sense of humor because everything I've said in this thread has been a JOKE! I'm just trying to make people go "ha ha" and stuff. I mean, Sly Fox thought it was funny. I'm sure others giggled.

Oh, and judging by your picture, you look like some fruity Bond wannabe who think's that slapping on a brown coat, slicking your hair back, (in your mommy's basement, I presume) and posing like your constipated makes you look like something special? I don't care what people say about my looks, although it is very fun to insult those of you who poke fun at what I look like.

    FYI,
I'm not in juior high, idiot. I am proud to say that in Septmeber, I will be entering my junior year of high school. Oh, and just so you know, junior year means 11th grade. I know that might be too much information to calculate in your teensy weensy brain, but I felt like helping an idiot out, you know, being a humanitarian and all.

But, to sum up this topic, Cheshire Cat, I think you haven't even taken the time to read any of this, but I'm sure you can find a look-a-like somewhere.

All right guys, let's calm down. It doesn't matter what we look like. That "Wal-Mart" thing was obviously a joke--some people found it funny, some didn't. But we don't need to go off ranting about how someone makes a joke that someone doesn't like, or how someone looks in their picture for this reason.

Mantis, you probably could have been a little nicer in your response, as it's really not necessary to insult someone's looks. I'm not positive as to what "Cheetos stains on your fingers" was a reference to, but it didn't sound very nice, whatever it was.

Carver97 had every right to respond in an offended manner, but he might have gone a little overboard as well.

Please, let's keep the peace on the forum--we're all Bond fans, and at the end of the day, that's all the matters, right?

But then again, I'm not a moderator.

Ok, I'm sorry Mantis. I went a little too far with my insults, but the least you could do is apologize also.

Absolutely, I am a 36 year old adult who definitely became carried away...my apology.

I wonder if he'd have said the Madagascar shirt probably came from Wal-Mart. Hemming certainly changed her quality level for cheesy, trying to blend in style tropical shirts, huh? :s
