We went to the flicks at Bluewater last night to see the Stephen Hawking film The theory of everthing,(sat in the gallery of course for £40.00 ) What a wonderfull film , i will try not to spoil it , well it is a film about him ,so no guns, bombs ,fast cars ,naked women then, sorry MG ,but a real human tale of one of the greatest minds of our time . Obviously a very sad film , due to Hawkings
afflictions, Sad because you have this brilliant mind trapped ,could he have given us more if he was able bodied .Sorry that might sound bad , as you could argue does a genius have more right not to be disabled than a road sweeper .But i did have too sneakily wipe away the odd tear, I dont know if i could live like he has . and there but the grace of God ,i am able bodied , So i for one will never moan about failing hearing eyesight ect ever again ,Every one should go to see this marvelous film brilliant acting
Yes going for a lower cert ( for more bums on seats = more money ) can
Hurt. The first Taken was a hard hitting thriller, with the bad guys getting
What they deserved -{ ( some brilliant fight sequences)
With Taken 2, they almost entered " self parody", with his daughter running
Around throwing grenades. )
So I might wait and catch Taken 3 on DVD when it comes out. I also wish
Liam Neeson would stop doing action films for a while and do the odd drama
He's a talented actor and shouldn't be just thought of as better acting Jason
Statham
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
It's a bit rich coming from him though, at least Neeson is making Films that are appearing in the Cinemas. Whilst Seagal has been left in Direct to DVD Hell for over a Decade now.
1.On Her Majesties Secret Service 2.The Living Daylights 3.license To Kill 4.The Spy Who Loved Me 5.Goldfinger
No argument his early stuff is fantastic, Aikido is a fantastic
System of defence and looks just different from other forms.
So was very eye-catching, and looked good on film.
Sadly he just comes across these days as a sad, odd character
( he must post on here ! ) )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Brilliant movie... loved it, loved it, loved it. (Probably more than my 9 year old...although to be fair it was his 4th time watching it, my first time)
Great message - and super clever! Gutted it's not in the Oscar running.

I'm sure the feeling, after years of work, was not of joy, when they were recognised for a song, rather than their hard graft over the animation side...

Watched The Dark Knight, last night. Hadn't meant to, just sat down
For a key scene and ended up watching it all ) , after Bond, Batman

Thats the Joker one right? Prob the best Batman film (though I'm partial to the lighter Keaton original)
I watched Octopussy last night when getting to sleep! The other half was disgusted with Moore pulling young Magda!

Bit meh. More of the same.
I think it was spoilt by going for a 12 certificate. Made it all a bit tame.

Oh well today in 13 months time we will have SPECTRE out on blu ray / DVD if it follows Skyfall release pattern
Talking about Liam Neeson, Steve Seagal recently criticized him by saying that 'He's not an Action Star' )
He is not a pie eater either )

Cant believe he married Kelly Le Brock back in the day - used to dream about her when I was a little boy :x

I nearly spat my tea out reading that !
That's one of those lines, I'll be laughing about all day.

I too like the two Keaton Bat films, the following two films with kilmer and Clooney
Were just as bad as the camp 60s TV show.
