" Horror gore porn" I think they were described as. I just hold them in a
Certain admiration as they were never meant to be a series, just a cheap
Horror film. Yet they managed to tie up all the different stories nicely. Now
That took some inventive writing.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I'm watching Beverly hills cop 2 tonight with 3 tomorrow. -{ now for a bit of trivia.
Would anyone remember an old TV show called " Sonny Spoon" with Mario van Peebles.
it was a sort of TVversion of Beverly hills cop, only lasted one sseries but I remember it
As being very funny too.

Avengers: Age of Ultron - loved it ! Tons of action and great humour too...looking forward to the next -{
I saw it over the weekend and although I was thoroughly entertained, I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I expected to. I can't exactly put my finger on why that is, because the movie has everything I was hoping for - spectacular action, some nice character development, great new characters (especially The Vision), and humor that works. Maybe it's just that the novelty of seeing all of these characters together has worn off after the first movie. Still, I highly recommend Avengers: Age of Ultron to fans of the Marvel movies especially, and the superhero genre in general.
We were supposed to see Age of Ultron this last weekend but it didn't happen so last night I stayed up late to watch Winter Soldier on DVD (only my second time), and I think I have to say this might just be the best superhero movie of all time...
?:)
I love the " Saw" movies but have to watch them on my own as my wife
Refuses to watch them. according to her they're too realistic. ) yet I find the
Violence in " Harry Brown" much more disturbing as it's realistic, not the over the
Top gore of most horror movies.
I would agree with you there, 100%.
The only time I've been unable to watch violence, that genuinely made me uneasy, is in the film 'Casino' . I love a gangster movie and the violence that goes with it but there is a scene in 'Casino',in a corn field, that I found too much ...
I know that scene, very graphic, unsettling and disturbing as it's believable. One of
The most disturbing scenes in any film I've seen, in that I couldn't get the image
Out of my head for days, was the dead baby in the cot from Trainspotting, as the
Rest of them were lay about stoned on heroin.
Thankfully last night was some happier movies.Beverly hills cop 2, love the character
Of Axel -{ and The Dark Knight, on ITV2, I'm a big fan of Batman. -{
I love the web poster which states .......
" There are 420 Billionaires in America, and not one of them has tried to be Batman!" )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
One of the most disturbing Films I have ever watched is When The Wind Blows, the Cartoon Adaptation of Raymond Briggs's Graphic Novel (He also made the Snowman amongst other Things)
1.On Her Majesties Secret Service 2.The Living Daylights 3.license To Kill 4.The Spy Who Loved Me 5.Goldfinger
In a similar vein, you should watch Threads. Quite simply THE most disturbing drama I've ever seen. Every world leader who has their finger on the red button should be made to watch this before taking office!
Japanese proverb say, "Bird never make nest in bare tree".

I went to the theatre to watch that....many years ago....it was a good production...
I watched " Squirm" as a kid. ( man eating worms) which scared the crap out of
Me so much, that I went to sleep with the light on, staring at the floor round the
Door, checking no worms had Made it up the stairs. ) I would have been about
12 or 13.
Watched it again a few years ago, and it's low budget crap and full of mistakes. )

Yep! {[] The Omega Man with old Chuck Heston is great, I didn't know at the time
There is an even earlier version with Vincent Price. Logan's run is fun too getting
Kulled at 30, so I've a few years yet ! )
Omega Man is loosely based on a sci-fi novel by Richard Matheson called I Am Legend. The Vincent Price film, which is called The Last Man on Earth, though very low budget, is an even more faithful version of that novel.
If you liked Omega Man and Logan's Run, check out Soylent Green, also starring Charlton Heston. Though it might seem a bit quaint by today's standards it is still a pretty effective apocalyptic murder thriller and Edward G. Robinson (in his last role) is memorable, especially in his interactions with Heston in the the dinner scene and scene late in the movie when he "goes home".

I remember that show and yes it was pretty funny, though short-lived.

The first Avengers film is still at the top of my list, in large part because we finally get to see all of those Marvel superheroes interacting in the same movie, but Captain America: The Winter Soldier is without a doubt one of the greatest superhero movies ever made. -{
I've honestly never seen the first Avengers
However, I did enjoy Age Of Ultron. It's hard for them because now the novelty of them all coming together has worn off, they have to create an intriguing interesting storyline, and Ultron has become one of my favourite villains.

It's just about the only superhero film I haven't seen, so I look forward to watching it.
I still put X-Men 2 and X-Men: First Class at the top of my list. That scene in the latter, where Fassbender meets the two ex-Nazis in a bar in Argentina, has to be one of the most awesome scenes ever.

I agree that's a great scene, and it convinced me that Fassbender could have been a good Bond.

Good News {[]
Want to remember them at their peak.
Given the amount of comedians involved.
