Taken 2 ,it was on the box last night , usual predictable action from Liam (he is great though) great shots of Istanbul ,
almost Skyfall part 2 :D ,I bet the residents of the grand bazar ,are getting fed up of film crews running across their roofs ,they used the same motor-cycle chase roof path from Skyfall .Taken 3 ?? hmm do the 2 remaining sons come after Liam 8-)

Whiplash, with J. K. Simmons in his Oscar-winning role as the most brutal and frightening music teacher on earth. In a lot of ways, it's a standard talented-kid-goes-to-tough-art-school movie, but Simmons's performance really elevates the show. He also gave me some ideas on how I can inspire my literature students. . .

    Yes I love Taken -{
Even my dad loves Taken - and he hates everything!
Taken 2 not good. Not seen 3 yet.
Watched Foxcatcher and American Sniper. Great performances in both films. Both based on true stories.

To be honest Taken 3 is better than 2, but it's just a basic action flick.

God, will it never end. :# the story might have been stretched to two
Films ( just) three was pushing it but 4, God help us. :))

I doubt Neeson will come back for a fourth though. Similar to Bourne Legacy.

I watched a strange film last night (think it flopped commercially but I thought it was interesting)

Had Mr Neeson as a writer - Third Person I think it was called

    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
Yes, it's silly comic book violence with vampires and cowboys but it's
    Tremendous fun. :)) I really enjoyed it. ( I think it's based on a true story) ;)

Lucy from Luc Besson staring Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman...the usual Besson nonsense when he's not taking it seriously...it's decent enough, not overly long at 89 mins...and has music (as usual) by Eric Serra...

Another Luc Besson film " 3 days to kill" . ( script)
An odd mix of action and humour which doesn't quite work. The action
Sequences are great but then our hero has to Bond with his teenage
daughter, although Kevin Costner is very good in it.

I saw Terminator: Genisys the other day. No doubt the best Terminator movie since Judgement Day. Arnold plays a large part and Emilia Clarke is good as Sarah Connor, but not quite as good as Linda Hamilton was. Worth a look.

" We're the Millers", I found this really funny. A bunch of strangers have to
Pretend to be a family on holiday to smuggle drugs across the border in to
America. Some laugh out loud moments in it. :))

I also found "We're the Millers" really funny. I love it when you don't have high expectations for a comedy but it surprises you - like "Bridesmaids" or "Superbad".
"How was your lamb?" "Skewered. One sympathises."

Finally saw Jurassic World. It's really just a remake/update (in today's terms, "reboot") of the original Jurassic Park, so don't expect too many surprises. . .but how many surprises do you expect from a roller coaster? It delivers the goods!

Yes if ever a series was let down by its sequels
it was " Taken" :# one great film followed by two
    piss poor efforts.
I'm watching The Expendables 3, an oddly boring
action film, good start and ending sequences but
a bit slow in the middle.

    Sabotage:
Arnie, as a DEA officer, trying to figure out who's killing his team members.
A few twists and turns and the big reveal, will not come as a surprise to
    Many.
Loads of swearing and ladies showing their boobs ( for no real reason, except
To make it feel more like an aldult movie) :))
Boy is Arnie looking old these days, this is a basic by the numbers shoot'em up
    Action flick.

Stalwarts of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. -{ it even has

They were showing " The curse of Frankenstein " after it, but sadly it was
around 02:45, and I had to get some sleep. :))
