You ever been alone at three in the morning, then click the "Who's Online" function?
Pretty eerie, it's like the mirror, of a mirror, of a, etc ..

I've been alone several times, but now I'm with, HighHopes, Hilary Bray and a couple of others. The most I've seen online is 15 (Out of thousands of members only 15)

You should have been here on 16 October 2005, when Daniel Craig became official...The place was as crowded as Normandy Beach on 6 June 1944...just not quite as friendly )

I wish I'd been around for the Craig Wars. I discovered AJB through following the media coverage of Craig's casting and the making of CR. But I only joined when CR was imminent and Craig had won a lot of people ever. It would have been fun to be in the trenches for a bit.

and now it's at the top of everyone's lists? At first I saw it as a brilliant Bond film but now I think it's too flawed. I know they were going to re-vatilise the series (MR^FYEO) but they didn't need to start it from scratch. DC didn't look much like Bond and it ran on way too long.

{[] Thanks Loeff. I went right through that thread. It was like watching Platoon. ) Interesting read. There were a few names I didn't recognise, but I guess some fans fell away with the departure of Brosnan. I notice Dan was in there giving Craig and CR a kicking. If he could only see himself now. Oh, wait. )
Ah...the Craig Wars. I was one of those who walked in with an open mind, and came out a bitter, bitter man. >sigh<

Craig performed as expected, adequately, i still don't think he's got the looks for a Bond,
Hoped it would be a brilliant film and i would like it despite Craig, yet i got a mediocre Bond film with Craig being one of the more positive aspects...
Now look, a thread about being lonely has turned around to a critique of Craig...surprising :v Ha, I would like to have a count of how many threads start out talking about one thing and then end up critiquing Craig as Bond, I am sure th count would be high. Anyways, there has been only one time I have been alone on here, and that was sometime last year...I got afraid...very afraid! |)
So, Lilac, are you basically saying that AJB is no longer thriving with good discussion, and you're leaving? Or does "Once SiCo comes back and I start to roast" mean that you've done something worthy of a ban that is most likely imminent?
If none of these apply to your poem . . . Could you please explain to us what it means?
Good Lord, I just read this ancient post of mine and it sounds downright nasty!
Lilac, if you're still here, I do apologize for being so inflammatory... Perhaps I was a bit on edge that day with all the politics discussion going on. Or maybe I didn't intend for it to sound this way, I honestly don't remember. Still, there's no excuse for such behavior. I rather like your poetry and don't think it's bad at all.
Sorry Lilac, hope you have a merry Christmas if you're still here. ;%
