I decided to do the list from worst to first. I should note that my two favorite Bond movies are DAF & LALD, but as movies go there are several that should be ranked higher, but they both have a special place in my heart so they get the 3 and 4 slot.

23 TMWTGG ( Rushed script production with low budget spelled doom )
22 NSNA (It was fun to watch Sir shawn once more AND Kim Bassinger was so hot it should be a crime, but what a bad flick)
21 AVTAK ( The producer put a ton of money into the movie and it shows, too bad Sir Roger was almost 60 at the time )
20 QOS (Poor follow up to such a strong movie.Should not have to watch another movie to find out how stunning Olga truly is)

19 TSWLM (I have always thought Gilberts huge movies were meant for the BIG screen and don't translate as well to T.V.)
    18 YOLT ( See above )
    17 MR ( see above )
16 TWINE (The first time I watched it I thought I really liked it, but Denise Richard just killed it for me, but Elektra was STUNNING )

15 FYEO ( If it was not for the horrid score by Mancini it would have rated higher. If Barry had scored it I think it could have been special, but that cheeseball chips score just kills the movie for me )

14 TLD ( This was the Dalton movie that got a true Bond budget, I just didn't think the villains worked for me )
13 DAD (If not for all the tributes I would have rated this movie lower, it's like a half good half bad movie. Worst title song ever)
12 OP ( This movie was alot of fun to watch in the theaters in the summer of 83, has not aged well though)
11 LTK ( Great villain, but a low budget, if they could have just traded places with TLD )
10 DN ( The movie that started it all )
9 TND ( This movie has really grown on me and I think is a very solid by the numbers Bond movie )
8 TB ( A classic Bond movie with perhaps the best trio of Bond girls ever, but THAT was one bad topee Sean had on him )
7 GE ( Martin Campbell really knows how to direct a new Bond, I wish he would direct more Bonds and skip stuff like the green lanter
6 CR ( See above Both his films just seem to have a strong balance of reality with classic Bond appeal )
5 GF ( "No Mr Bond I expect you to die." I think the best arch Villain, henchman combo of all the flicks )
4 DAF ( I think the parts are stronger than the whole, but it has my favorite Bond girl in Jill St John and I think the end scene with Wint and Kidd is one of the best scenes of all time )
3 LALD ( I just love all the voodoo, Mr Big, TeeHee with the hook, jumping over crocodiles, the speed boat scene maybe the greatest action sequence in the whole series, plus it was the movie that made me fall in love with Bond when I was a kid )
2 FRWL ( A perfect classic of a movie that stands on its own right as a great film, not just a great bond film )
1 OHMSS ( See above, these two films meld the fictional book flemming with the movie Bond to perfection. If Thunderball had not gone overtime in production OHMSS would have followed and Sean would have done the movie, but maybe the fact that Lazenby only did the one makes the film so special. I don't know, I just know it is hands down my favorite book and favorite film)

It should be noted I love them all just some more than others. Its also a lot of fun to watch other peoples list.

I Can't believe I spelled sean's name wrong in the last post. Maybe I should proofread before I submit, so please don't hammer me for it LOL

Interesting list Dutchfinger, I agree, the ranking is always changing. We used to have a feature on this site where you could add your movie ranking to your profile. I am still hoping this feature will return in the future.

Yes, always in motion the rankings are...
In order of how much I enjoy them them (which in NO WAY is to be misconstrued an indication of my perception of the movie's quality or lack thereof) :

    2. Living Daylights
    3. Spy Who Loved Me
    4. Diamonds Are Forever
    5. Dr. No
    6. Goldeneye

    10. Man With The Golden Gun
    11. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    12. Octopussy
    13. License To Kill (it's a love/hate thing)

I can trot off a Top Ten dead easy but have to do a bit of head-scratching for the rest. Not for the reason that the rest are bad but the first ten just seem sufficiently different from one another to assess more clearly.

    1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    2. From Russia With Love
    3. Goldfinger
    4. Dr. No
    5. Thunderball

Intresting to see that a movie like Tomorrow Never Dies is the movie you enjoy the most!! I could understand why, you don't watch TND for it's plot, but it is the type of Bond movie that you could watch with the entire family and just simply enjoy.

I want them all on one format, I have a few on VHS, and a few from various collections that have come out. I think it sucks that the 50th Anniversary set is Blu-ray only. I would buy that in a heart beat if it was on normal DVD.

The entire set has been on DVD for years now, well okay casino royale and quantum of solace are the only once's that won't have the same packaging of the rest of the set, but still, you could easily get all of them on DVD...

I own all of them on DVD as well, and own three blu ray one's... But I think I am going for the blu-ray update anyway! But thats just me..

I've not done this in a LONG time (due to a certain site feature being removed :# )

Anyway, I feel my opinion is far from the norm. And I feel I will probably get flamed a lot. But ya know what? If everyone had the same opinion then life would be boring! :D

Anyway, I will give this a go, although it will be very hard and will probably change lots:

1 - Live And Let Die (Adore it from start to finish)
2 - A View To A Kill (Most underrated film in the history of cinema)
3 - Octopussy (Yes I like the Moore films, what of it? :D )
4 - For Your Eyes Only (See above)
5 - Dr No - (This grew on me a lot over the years. Honey rider oh yes ;) )
6 - The Spy Who Loved Me (Another strong entry for Moore)
7 - You Only Live Twice (Always liked this one, and don't get how it's considered below-average)
    8 - Goldeneye (Pierce's best, by far)
9 - The Living Daylights (VERY close with LTK)
10 - Licence To Kill (This and TLD could change)
11 - On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Not keen on Lazenby, but the film itself is great)
12 - From Russia With Love (A classic. The train scene makes it for me)
13 - The Man With The Golden Gun (Really like it, mostly due to Scaramanga...)
14 - Quantum Of Solace (An all-in-all enjoyable film)
15 - Casino Royale (Very well done. A bit different, which explains my low-ish ranking, but still very impressive)
16 - Diamonds Are Forever (Despite the cheesiness I still kind of like it)
17 - Goldfinger (This is where people will murder me... I like the film but consider it overrated)
18 - The World Is Not Enough (Not great, but it has it's strong points, and Elektra King is excellent)
19 - Tomorrow Never Dies (Below average for me. Some good points I guess)
20 - Moonraker (Was good before they got into space...)
21 - Thunderball (I respect it, but it just mostly bores me - sorry)
22 - Die Another Day (CGI ruins it. Some good points, but a flawed film overall)

    And if they count.....
23 - 60's Casino Royale (I don't mind it, but it's not exactly rankable with the normal bond films)
24 - Never Say Never Again (I absolutely hate it)

Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy all of the bond movies (Well, except for NSNA)
    1 - LALD, 2 - AVTAK, 3 - LTK, 4 - OP, 5 - NTTD, 6 - FYEO, 7 - SF, 8 - DN, 9 - DAF, 10 - TSWLM, 11 - OHMSS, 12 - TMWTGG, 13 - GE, 14 - MR, 15 - TLD, 16 - YOLT, 17 - GF, 18 - DAD, 19 - TWINE, 20 - SP, 21 - TND, 22 - FRWL, 23 - TB, 24 - CR, 25 - QOS

    1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

    Nice list Jarvio!

Indeed very different in many ways to the norm, but thats what I like about the Bond fans!
You for instance ranked Live and Let Die as your very favorite, while on my list it is pretty much at the bottom! Which is what I think is so intresting! I'm sure that if I was to watch that movie with you, you could proberbly point out a lot of the aspects that make that movie the best one in your opinion! (Or atleast your favorite one)

    A Bond fan should never be ashamed of his own opinion! -{
