Just wanted to post about a recent acquisition. My buddy Ed over at The Spyboys has an awsome Bond collection. One of those items is the compact that Tania gives to Bond with the plans of the Russian Embassy. Well I've had an order with Ed for one for some time and he recently found one that I've added to my collection. He even included the map. Very cool indeed!

    Wow, the compact is great! If I might add one minor suggestion, it seems that the replica map has torn sides while the original one seems to have a straight cut with a scissor. But I know it's only a bonus and the compact is what matters... :p

    Yeah, I noticed the sides of the note too. The pictures were taken prior to my trimming the note. I like the compact a great deal, and it goes nicely with my S.D. Studios attache case and AR-7. Now I need to replicate Red Grant's watch.

    Hey, does anyone know where I can get a FRWL briefcase. It needs no real gadgets, but the look is what I am trying to find. Where did you get yours?

    You can get them from Swaine & Adeney in St James St. they retail for about £895 for a single lid over body with red or green leather lining. They also offer a so-called replica of the original FRWL case for an over the top £1200. This is a blatant attempt to cash in on people like us, and it is not even accurate, it has a deeper double body and different locks than the original. You'd be better off getting the standard lid over body design.

    The prices on the website are double those of the shop itself. Anyone looking at that site and thinking of buying - please don't. You'd be better off visiting the shop in person. Can't believe the difference in prices :o
