Well, my "shrine" is rather concentrated, but that's maily due its smallness.

My Bond "shrine" too is relegated to it's own corner, because in my bedroom, the rest of the corners are inhabited by figures of different themes. I'm kind of embarrassed to say how many figures are on display alone, let alone some that are packed away.

Y'know, my Bond schwag occupies a very long display case containing my Sideshow figures, plenty of cars, and other stuff; and that's all the space it takes. After seeing The 40 Year Old Virgin, all I can think is, Thank God! That poor sap had action figures in every room!

My meagre collection is spread a little throughout the house. I have the novels -including my first edition library copies all on bookshelves on the landing -then I have a built in wardrobe in the bedroom that holds an assortment of things mainly things like my Danbury Mint DB5, Doyusha Aston Martin DB5 ,and Toyota GT2000 -airfix 007 and Oddjob model - TSWLM Action Man, of course my Sideshow figure of Scaramanga, a couple of other action figures made by Dragon Stars -various corgi and johnny Lightning cars -a few curious little items such as a cigarette case with 007 logo on it and has a built in lighter to name but one -then I've got trading cards, and a whole shelf of 007 nonfiction and then of course my titan books, and other grapghic novels and comics. Then I have various movie posters -sadly not on display at the mo in the spare room -in the lounge I have my ps2 007 games and my collection of official and unnofficial CD's and then of course my complete collection of DVD's. Then in storage at my Aunts I have a large box containing various other things -including more Corgi cars -a 007 chess set and such.
Sadly non of my stuff is displayed in a shrine like way -as it would probably cause a divorce! Still I keep the doors of the built in wardrobe open so I can take out what I want to look at whenever the mood takes me.
Mine is spread over three rooms - and is quickly overtaking a fourth !!
Just four rooms Sir M? Sadly my collection is hardly a collection at all. A number autographs in a draw waiting to be framed, and a large bundle of poster tubes in the corner. There just isn't enough wall space to display my collection of quads!

Here are a few pieces from my collection, for your eyes only...
Sir MilesThe Wrong Side Of The WardrobePosts: 27,780Chief of Staff
Some great pieces there, spectreisland especially the Golden Gun and the Wrist Dart Gun.
Those Jeff Marshall lithographs look nice too, I haven't got any of those - have you got a full set of them ? What do you think of them and which, if any, would you recommend buying ?
Thanks for your kind words; I've been a Bond fan for a long time and I've always wanted to be able to find some nice pieces and display them properly.
With regard to the Marshall prints, they're all great. I just need to make more room so I can fit the rest. I've tried to matte and frame them so that the matte matches some aspect of the print itself.
I doff my hat to you, SpectreIsland--you're the Bond collector extraordinairre!

Very Impressive collection. I'm jealous. Must have cost you a fortune. My favorite has got to be the wrist dart gun from MR.

SpectreIsland, I do not see one piece of furniture that does not serve any other purpose than displaying your "shrine" items. I applaud you, that you have a whole room (perhaps more) dedicated to your hobby! When I photographed my stuff for this thread, I had to make sure that the bed and TV were out of the frame :P

Yes, congratulations SpectreIsland, that's one amazing Bond shrine!

Well, I'm really jealous now ! You have some tremendous pieces there and it's obviously cost you a small fortune to aquire them - I take it you have extra household insurance on them, and those payments must high too
I do like those Marshall lithographs but always considered them a tad expensive, I also love his artwork on the Corgi/Spyguise limited edition boxes, do you have any of those ? I only have the DB5 and Lotus.
Thanks to all for the compliments and I'm very happy to be able to share my collection with fellow Bond fans. When I was younger I couldn't afford to collect, but now that I'm older (if not wiser) some of these pieces have finally come within my grasp.
I'm lucky in that my father is a carpenter and when he retired I quickly built him a little workshop in our basement so he could get to work on making me some display cases
My brother and I basically turned the second floor of our house into a "shrine" for our various collections. Bond is number one (but of course) but we're also into Star Wars, Batman, and comics related memorabilia as well.
Sir Miles, I believe elements of the artwork on the SpyGuise Corgi boxes are from those same lithographs; since I already have most of those Corgis several times over, I decided to pass on those editions (for now, anyway).
Thanks again for all the kind words. As I acquire more items, I'll be sure to share them with you all.

You are correct about the SpyGuise/Corgi boxes - they do use part of the lithographs. They are beautiful pieces but again, for me anyway, a tad expensive
You're so lucky to be able to get good display cases, that's the main problem I have - good display cases at a decent price that fit seem hard to come by
I look forward to seeing more of your pieces.

Your household sounds like mine. I'm the Bond fan of the family, my 10-year old son is the resident Star Wars geek, but Batman is our common ground, with toys and collectibles from these themes littering our home. I can be a bad dad sometimes: "What?!? You got a C+ in Math on your progress report? Your privileges just got taken away, young man...and you better be dressed in 10 minutes if we're gonna be on time for our toy run, darnit!!!" )

Wow! I've been a fan for sometime and just started collecting. I actually flew out to Autographica to meet Ursula Andress and others, but I see I have a ways to go. ;-)
I'm really interested in movie props and a (now rare) golden gun replica.
I'm actually going to hit Boston's Megafest since my gf is from there too. Are you attending?
This is an edit of my original post with downsized images in hopes of improved access.
So I'm finally publishing some links to part of my collection; I've been organizing the memorabilia for a about a year now (that includes locating cabinets, finding lights, etc.)
There are three pieces included in this phase: 2 pairs of cabinets with the pairs divided by a "phone booth".
I apologize for the quality of the photos; there's no direct, natural light in the room (a deliberate choice to preclude fading) and with the cabinets partially backed in mirrored glass, flash is something of a problem. Also, as the cabinets are floor to ceiling, the memorabilia is effectively meant to be seen by a standing or possibly kneeling person; the JPEGs are all head-on so many of the pieces are obscured.
I hope to have Phase II complete--with photos--before the year is out but I'm continually stymied by one detail.

Wow. Just... wow. But I have three questions... first: Why is Sideshow Q's face green?
second: Is your (custom) MR figure using MR Roger Moore as the base figure, or LALD?
third: What kind of figure do you have in that huge Aston of yours? Is it 1/6th, or smaller?
Color distortion resulting from me trying to "dodge" his face; the lights in the cases caused certain pieces to get "blown out."
second: Is your (custom) MR figure using MR Roger Moore as the base figure, or LALD?
This figure came from Argentina and though I haven't made extensive comparisons, it seems to be their own sculpt.
third: What kind of figure do you have in that huge Aston of yours? Is it 1/6th, or smaller?
As the car is 1/8, I cobbled together a 1/8 figure. However, as the figure has limited articulation, I think he appears a little large. I need to replace him but the tux was so difficult to make ....

Hi Alan. Since yesterday, I've gotten nothing but Geocities error messages, to the effect, "sorry, the page is not working." Also, maybe the mods can host the pics once their back online, so they will be readily displayed in your post?

I've managed to get some of the links to work - some worked yesterday, some today.
To increase bandwidth and improve access, I've grossly reduced the size of the images. Please use the links below; the links in previous posts are now void. Sadly, this means that while you couldn't see much in the original images, you won't be able to make out anything at all now ...

Mine is spread over three rooms - and is quickly overtaking a fourth !! It's in no particular order or theme, just where it will fit or looks good
My collection too is spread through 3 rooms, if it encroached on the 4th I'd be in trouble, that's the bathroom.

Disgruntled with the 12" Sideshow Jinx, I decided to create my own. I purchased a Storm action figure from the X-Men movie toy line, then I got out my paints & my swiss army knife, to create what you see here:
