Well I've seen a bit now the links work :))

Do the cabinet lights cause any items to fade ?

I look forward to Phase II

No, they're seldom on and, despite how they look in the photos, aren't particularly bright. Besides, while flourescents definitely cause fading, incandescents are much less prone to it.

I do have some concern over things melting, however! Though the bulbs are only 25W each, it still totals 250W per case. 25W is the upper limit on the lighting fixture and I feared it would be awfully dim. As it stands, I could have gone with 15W or even 10W and been fine; at night the bloody wall (the whole display is roughly 10' across) is blinding (there are 40 lamps total plus the lighting in the phone booth).

Lighting throughout the house is controlled by a single, hand-held remote and when on, the display cases are usually dimmed to about 50%.
I look forward to Phase II

Looks like a phone call yesterday removed the final obstacle to Phase II; with luck, I'll be done in a few weeks!

Nightshooter, your links did not work for me.
They all took me to the same Snapfish Sign Up page.

I'm working on it. I'll update it as soon as I fix the problem. :)

EDIT: The problem is now fixed. Please, look at the pictures I have posted above. Thanks.

    The links work fine now.

Nice piece. Just missing the thick comma of hair above the eye - and then you're there.

Thanks. It's on my to-do list. ;) I'm going to finish a DAD kitbashed Brosnan first, though, and then I'll get around to the comma.

Nice figure, Nightshooter, and a great paint job on the hair! Very crisp looking clothing, and the quality of the briefcase is beyond what I expected!

Thanks. The briefcase is fantastic, yeah. It is better than what I expected, too, but I'm glad it is, it was worth the $20 or so dollars. Oh, damn, I completely forgot to take pictures of him with cigarettes. I'll have to do that sometime.

It seems to be getting harder (and more expensive) to land quality Bond props and replicas these days, but the search continues.

I thought I'd post a pic of my latest addition to the Bond collection: I made up a display consisting of the limpit mine and grenade pen from Goldeneye.

For something a little different, I just picked up a solid all-mahogany replica of James Bond's SeaBee seaplane from TMWTGG. Have a look:

Spectreisland and I added a few items to our ever expanding Bond collection recently, so I thought I'd bump this thread and share.

First up is a nice replica of the Acrostar Jet from Octopussy.

And here is a display we had made for our Bond watches and rings. More to come (hopefully).

Very nice collection gentleman, I am impressed. I have an approximately 65 card Bond autograph collection from the various card sets. However, I am about to begin selling them on Ebay, so no need for a shrine.

Thanks Barry; be sure and PM me your Ebay ID so we can track your auctions; my brother is already wondering if he can use some of your cards to fill in any gaps in his collection.

I found a cool website where you can host pictures of your collections all in one place. It's all free to join- I'd love to see some of your fantastic collections up there:

You've probably seen them all at one time or another (it's tough to keep up with hardcore collectors like yourself). The first is a timepiece;I've been after it for a few years but could never find one in mint condition until now; the second is a pretty unique vehicle and the third is a somewhat more common weapon. Think Roger Moore's movies, and let me know if you like them when I post...

Hi Everyone, after lots of sweat and troublesome evenings I've managed to get (most of) my collection up on the internet! It is still not finished as I have still to scan my 100 odd Autographs and put them in the "Bond autographs" link
Nearly all of my items are Original props or Production items and have taken me years to collect.
I hope you like the site and I will gladly take any comments or suggestions.
I will be updating over the next few weeks and hope somebody will have a look :-)

Thanks for looking guys, glad you like it :-)
I should have the rest of the stuff up soon.
I still have some pieces in construction, I'm just finishing the frame for the stunt P99 and ive got An Aston Martin Yokohama tyre with original Tyre spikes from the Ice palace scene in DAD thats still to be mounted, I may put this on as it is at the moment.
My Personal Favorites are the Goldeneye Key and the Herve Villechaize items, especially the Photos that Herve took on set while filming TMWTGG, I got them off his last Girlfriend Kathy in the USA, what a nice girl.
anyway keep looking and ill update ASAP. :-)

After a good deal of searching, I was finally able to find a few new pieces that had been eluding me for a while. Click on any pic for a larger version.

I finally got my hands on a mint Pulsar P2 one button watch, just like the one worn by Roger Moore in LALD. Here it is in my watch display:
    th_BondWatches2.jpg

I also found a very nice wood replica of Scaramanga's flying car from TMWTGG. Very nice detail and paint job on this one.

And you can thank me for that later! :p

Here's what those looked like before I said "unacceptable" ("Well, our Japanese customers think they're just fine!") and gave them Stears' drawings to work from (click the thumbnail for a larger view):

Though they now boast of offering cars, I think the Matador may have been their first. All told the project took nearly a year to get right.

My goal was to create a separate area for each James Bond film that would hi-lite poster art, props, wardrobe, gadgets, baddies etc....so far so good and here are some new ones to the area. I have a few movies to go and I don't want to release all the pics yet until all are complete but here are some that are coming along. This way an individual can "visit" their favorite Bond movie and the pop culture artifacts associated with that particular movie. I am having sound bites installed next to each display with excerpts from the movie.
