    In the UK, "live" firearms are not allowed to be kept by the general public - legally.

    Having said that, even deactivated weapons are constantly under threat of becoming illegal, along with anything else that looks like a gun.

    And having said that, there are now probably more (illegal) "live" weapons on the streets of Britain than ever before.

    By the way, has anyone noticed that eBay ban sales of replica/deactivated guns but are quiet willing to allow lethal knives to be sold.

    Indeed, they don't even allow paintball guns to be sold. They must have had alot of pressure from someone.

    I've noticed of late that cap guns are being allowed back on eBay, but P99s listed along with a Casino Royale tag (no official CR pistols - as far as I know - produced) are grossly overpriced (imo).
