Indeed--26 years haven't been hard on her at all! But I think I've got something figured out: Indy + Marion = Shia LeBeouf as Indy Jr. (or James Dean, given how he's dressed).

She does look good and everybody seems to be having a great time making this. Indy IV is shaping up to be a nice, nostalgic kind of movie methinks. Here's hoping it all comes together.
Wow! Karen Allen is indeed looking great. I think the filmmakers are smart to bring her back to give some much needed continuity to the whole franchise. My concern is the fact that Karen Allen's chair says 'Marion Ravenwood' and not 'Marion Jones'. It makes me hope that the rumors stating that Shea Lebouf's character is Indy and Marion's son are not true. The last thing I want to see is another 'child out of wedlock' story. I'm becoming convinced that Hollywood believes that happily married couples with children are a myth.

Well... good! He's good at cheesy pulpy titles, and Indy's supposed to have that.
The title's kind of a mouthful, but nothing is written in stone until the advertising starts in full force. They may alter the title late in the game like they did with 'Return (nez Revenge) of the Jedi'
As it stands it's not unlike some of the non-film Indiana Jones items we've been getting such as books, comics, and video games.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull doesn't quite roll off the tongue, but it is in keeping with Lucas' penchant for those corny 1940's serials, which is what Indiana Jones has always been a homage to. In that respect, I guess the title fits. And frankly, as long as the movie is good the title is secondary.
Just as long as it isn't Indiana Jones and the Hunters of the Lost Geritol, I'll be happy.

Another interesting sidenote is the fact that The Indiana Jones ride at Tokyo Disneyland is called "Temple of the Crystal Skull." I wonder if that's purely coincidence or a direct correlation?
Whatever happened to short titles like Indiana Jones 4? I guess we can blame Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl for a title like this.
I hope it does well also, if only from a nostalgic POV. But I do wonder if today's audiences will be able to connect with Dr. Jones the way people our age did; the last Indy film came out a generation ago and Ford's last few movies haven't exactly set the box office on fire.
I'm sure it will do well, but I wonder if the younger audiences will embrace him or consider him a relic of their parents' generation.

Ahhh, but here's the beauty of material from our youth, Tony...Most adults pass these cinematic heroes down to our children whether your own, nephews or nieces. That's how my son got into James Bond from sitting in my lap as a baby as I watched the Connery films.
He thinks that the older ones are cooler than the more recent ones but it's never run across his mind that James Bond is an outdated hero. I'm sure there are an alarming amount of kids who feel the same way about Indiana Jones and others in this bracket like Bond, Dirty Harry, etc. so he won't be as ancient a concept to young minds as you may fear.
If that's the case, would Lucas have gone through the trouble of putting out those Star Wars prequels? WAIT! Don't answer that...
Children today, IMO, live off of franchises that we grew up in awe over thanks to cable tv and DVDs; hardly anything is original at the movies nowadays otherwise we wouldn't get such a high volume of unnecessary remakes or recycled ideas with different titles slapped on.

Whenever the BBC have put the series on in recent years, and they usually do them prime time, they get surprisingly large audiences. I don't think there'll be a problem.
I'm thinking it all sounds promising! I want whatever probiotics Karen Allen is on, for a start! Flippin' 'eck she's not aged a year over most of the course of my lifetime..! Indy hasn't faired just as well, but at least he's playing his age and in the right era.
As for the title, I kinda like it! Looking forward to it already!

I really like the title. Much better than 'Indiana Jones and the City Of the Gods'.
The articles I've read suggest that even though his script was rejected, Frank Darabont's draft is the basis for the new film. I think George Lucas might be off his Christmas Card list.

As much as I love Indiana Jones the original series finished in 1989. I think this will be one of them star wars things with newer films milking the success of the older films. Did I mention "HARRISON FORD IS IN HIS MID-60'S!!!!!!!!!!!" This is worse than Moore in AVTAK!
