Firstly, let me thank Tony DP & SpectreIsland for supplying me with the reference photos I needed for this Image Comics submission even if I wasn't picked in the end. Here are a couple of the pages, I did for an upcoming sci-fi story...I came close but no cigar...

Anyway here they are. Sorry, too lazy to use Shop on one of them. :D

They were to go straight to color from pencil...Not a fan of that really because the pics tend to look muddy when you don't use an embellisher - even with Photoshop.

I'm not familiar with The Expendable One (but I am way out of touch on everything but the very mainstream stuff); is it an indie comic?

It's fairly new but it's been getting good reviews. Viper is supposedly a rising independent force thanks to their mag DEAD AT 17. Entertainment Weekly & Wizard Magazine gave it a rousing reviews awhile back and they've done okay I guess; one of their books has a movie deal I know.

Here's another that I couldn't get lined up properly...

Hey Rogue, really sorry to hear you didn't get that gig; but I thought we'd agreed that no one was to know that we have a working time machine in our basement. Way to go pal, now I'm going to have to move it back to the extra-dimensional cradle up in the attic. ;)

Ironic you posted these pics of a time machine today; Spectreisland was watching the old Time Machine movie with Rod Taylor this very afternoon.

And nice work by Rogue Jr. on Iron Man; it looks unncanily like a pose I saw for a statue I was looking at; this one in fact...

I got another one- some of the AJBers as The Fantastic Four.

    Loeff as Mr. Fantastic

'Nique or Lady Rose as Sue Richards

Night or Tee Hee as Johnny Storm since they're both around that age...

I could play The Thing because of my build but I'd have to draw a goatee. :D I already have the deep-voiced Brooklyn accent.

Loeff or H.B. could be Doom; I don't know why but Loeff plays foil with me sometimes on thread issues so either way he would fit... :D

W.G. or SiCo drawn as The Watcher...no one else can pull this off but them. Don't know how they'd feel being momentarily bald though... ;%

No problems as far as I'm concerned,Rogue.Feel free any time. After all,it's not like I'd delete it or anything....:)) :))

No,seriously--go ahead.I'm curious to see what you'll come up with!:)

I absolutely love that statue, and being a Sideshow fan, I'd seen it before. It really is a beautiful piece.

And so are your son's pieces. Damn, he's good. Soon better than you, huh?

Some years ago, I used to draw or paint pictures just to relieve stress. I remember working on this one everyday for about a week or so at my draft table while my then 9 month old son was playing on the floor in my studio room or in my lap dozing off. I forgot that I even did this picture; I just stumbled onto it the other night...

Forgive the cellpic, it's huge and I sort of hate it now. I plan on doing the ultimate Connery Bond pic one of these days...

I used various mediums as I recall, acrylic, pencil and charcoal if I remember correctly. I came really close to ripping this up back then...All artists have their quirks I guess...

I just might consider investing some of my money in some genuine, authentic Mike Williams artwork. These pieces could certainly fetch a price after you...uh...

May you live a long and healthy life Rogue. :v :))

Here is part of the commission that I had to do for my wife's Manhattan branch colleagues for a big presentation conference they are having this week.

The section manager that hired me loves comics and wanted to do his staff with an X-Men type theme. Here are a couple of the caricatures I had to do of them out of several...

These were a last minute request that had to be done in 3 days and I had to do about 12 of them.

It's also pretty cool when the company is footing the bill. :D

I'd like to do this as a fun-running gag with my AJB members here as some have already discussed with me. For those interested in participating, PM me a pic of yourself and I can get going with some sort of theme whether it be comics or Bond. B-)

Sometimes when I'm in the middle of a project that isn't necessarily pressing, I like to break up the monotony by doing "refresher doodles" to prevent going insane sometimes.

I was watching Superman:TAS the other night while at my draft table and decided to do a sketch of one of the episodes for my own amusement. Here's a quick scan of that result that I did in a couple hours or so fighting insomnia. For those familiar with the episode you'll know which one. ;)

Of course I'm getting it inked and colored where you can see the full pinup. B-)

My son had another drawing spell all weekend...another Marvel fit...yeesh. 8-)

Anyway seeing that he just loved FF:ROTSS, he wanted to draw The Purple Death but didn't have a reference on hand. What I am amazed at is that he found one in a catalogue that was the size of one's avatar here. He was able to amass such detail that I couldn't even see from the t-shirt design but my eyes are getting old. :D

Awesome Superman vs. Grodd, Rogue; looking forward to seeing it inked.

As for Galactus, all I can say is the kid has mucho talent. His work has improved visibly since the first pics you posted. It'll be fun to see it progress further as he gets older.

BTW, since you're soliciting pics of AJB'rs, SpectreIsland and I are still waiting to see what you look like. We need to be able to associate the name to a face (it's a hangup of ours). :v {:)

:)) As Arthur Spooner would say, "You will see me when the time comes." :)) Although it sounds better coming from him.

Seriously, I'll post a decent pic of myself (they're all God-awful) if I can find one but I'm supposed to go visit my sister in Boston enroute back home to New York firstly this fall anyway so you know I'm getting in touch with you to see you in person. Spec can even wear the leather jacket as he shows me around town...I'll feel safe. :D

Sorry, Tony but that's Calibak. Darkseid's son. I just made him look more gruesome. ;)

Doh!! My bad, you're absolutely right and now that you pointed it out I see definitely see it. I had Grodd on the brain since I'd just read Batman/Superman: Public Enemies.

We'll definitely have to hook up when you're in Boston. I'm not much of a tour guide, but I do know this great Italian restaurant in the North End...
