I'd wear one if you got them put on high enough quality tee shirts. I love the look of Franz!
Also, awesome work by your son! Good genes.

We thank you both; as soon as I get the design lines (3 different ones) completed, I'll let you all see it before it goes to print. I'm in the process of negotiating with different printers for the best deal.
Heck, Tony, you can wear this over your sweater or even better...to the supermarket?

Can't wait for the finished product!

Thanks, Night. I had to attend a comics artist function all this weekend where people got to see more pages than I put up here and I'm flattered that most are enthusiastic about seeing the end product.

thanks a bunch! *makes plans to go to Time Warp comics tomorrow and find them*
~Pen -{
*the next day* I'm special ordering it because it's one of the few *and I mean that...they have EVERYTHING* that Time Warp didn't have. I have to wait until the owner, Wayne, is back from vacation so he can order it for me! Matt and Julie *employees* said that though they have never read it, it looked really good and that they hope he orders soon, 'cause they want to read it now...
Hey! Observer! You trying to get yourself Killed?

Thanks for the comps, Pen. You might find that mag out west in certain areas but I'm not sure specifically if it's in your state.
I actually saw it auctioned on Ebay quite a few times ( Los Angeles, New Jersey & Seattle) and for some strange reason, I was flattered. ;%

My Photoshop is acting up again but I decided to to do a quick scan of another page to the book. Forgive the cropping; just think of it as a "fullscreen" version.
Gotta try and reinstall my program again...

Is that Woody Allen if he were working for the mob? )

Great stuff as usual Rogue; as much as I enjoy your characters, I really like the detailed backgrounds you draw behind them - makes everything much more visually interesting. Looking forward to the finished book.

Thank you, Tony. Although backgrounds are essential to making certain panel have more depth and to establish surroundings, very few people pay attention to them actually or appreciate them - well at least to me.
Very few people care about some trash can being turned over in the in the corner of a scene. )
Believe me, they can be tedious to draw alot of times but you've got to have them.

Tedious maybe, but I notice stuff like that. I remember when John Byrne was doing books for DC, a lot of his panels had the characters with little or no detail behind them - that stood out to me right away and gave the books a "cheaper" feel in my eyes.

Right there with you. The more fleshed out, intricate background, the better. If there's not much there, it's a major turn off.
Another thing I seriously dislike, (in some), of today's comics, is this notable lack of dialogue. When I was a kid I could sink into a chair and absorb Roy Thomas' descriptive narrations in Savage Sword magazine for what seemed an entire afternoon. They created mood and suspense and used every adjective in the book.
Last comic I bought it took me five minutes to get through. (insert grump cliche here)
PS: Excellent craftmanship, Rogue -{

Seriously though, I can definitely see a lot of the Shat man in that picture. He got the hair and chin just right. Needs to work more on the mouth and his shading around the nose but he already has more talent than I could ever hope to possess.

Okay, here's phase 2 of my tee design for Franz; I had it inked up this weekend by a friend of mine in Massachusetts. An old school guy that IMO, did a great job. Let me know what you think...
Next stop: Digital coloring... B-)

Nice work Rogue, not sure in the current climate I would walk around with the shirt and Night if you showed up at school with it I think you would be on your way home in a hurry.
However, the impact you were going for is definitely there. Very nice!

Yes, Night, this might be an objectionable design in the wrong environments such as schools. I remember wearing my Punisher tee back in my school days and no one gave it a second thought...my, how times have changed.
I don't think that it would hinder customers wanting it, I'd just be careful where I wore it.
