I posted it a couple of weeks ago in the screenings thread. as the CTBF were selling tickets for their two other screenings the same night.

Should be very special night as it is also the 60th Royal Film performance. I have never been to one of the Bond premiers but I would imagine the atmosphere will be fabulous.

Maybe we should put The Queen in our famous Bond fans thread :D

Whatever happens?, it's gotta be less wince-inducing for her to sit through, than the Royal edition of: "It's A Knockout!" :D

    Or, indeed, Die Another Day.

I know it was confirmed last week and has been announced elsewhere, but since it's not been on AJB yet...

Buckingham Palace has confirmed that The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, will attend the world premiere of Casino Royale at the Odeon Leicester Square on 14th November.

Though it was more or less taken above that The Queen would be attending, it wasn't a given as it is the State opening of Parliament the next morning and she could have been represented by another member of the Royal family.

Maybe she's resting herself to make sure she is fit enough for CR. She's obviously as desperate as the rest of us to see it ;)
