While I'm thinking of it, will they have Jarvis? It's not Iron Man without Jarvis.
I've heard nothing of the faithful butler cum silent stock holder in Stark Industries. I wonder of the Batman / Alfred dynamic has caused them to nix Jarvis.

I like it; very slick and sporty while not the usual Ferrari or Lamborghini that most playboy billionaires drive.
BTW, I'm pretty sure the IM trailer was legit as somebody over at AICN corroborated it. Hopefully, it will pop up online at some point.
The Audi R8? As much as I love the car, it is not a car for billionaires. It is a $115k car (give or take). Stark should drive a Veyron. (Actually, the Bugatti Veyron would be a great base for a Batmobile. Either that or a Pagani Zonda)

I'm sure part of the reason for the Audi is that there is some sort of promo deal (I believe there was a similar one for I Robot).
Personally, since we're talking about fantasy cars, I'd vote for a McLaren F1, done in red and gold tones of course. It's a single seater but still a damn sexy car.

Never been a big fan of the McLaren. Something about the headlights. You're wrong about it, though - it seats three. One in the middle front, one farther back on the right and another like that on the left.

Here are interviews straight from the cast of IM at Comic-Con this weekend. Bear in mind...it's via Quicktime but I hope that you enjoy them.
Now that is one mega-kewl trailer! It appears that Downey is playing Tony Stark as a Prime A-Hole until he becomes Iron Man, and nobody plays scummy characters better than Downey. And kudos to whoever put this trailer together for going with AC/DC instead of the obvious choice--Black Sabbath. I'm lookin' forward to this!

Glad you guys are pleased.
I can feel the money jumping out of my pocket awaiting what appears to be a very awesome movie summer! I may have to see all of these gems three times apiece if they live up to the hype.
I too loved that afterburners shot ending with the sonic boom. {[]

For those who may have trouble with RogueAgent's link, here's a YouTube version; picture quality is a bit lacking but that's to be expected since this is a video of a video.
Wouldn't it be cool if a fan could win that in some Iron Man Movie sweepstakes or something to tie in with the theatrical debut?
Of course my wife would just see that as a big pile of junk if I won. )
I'm sure somebody will, at the very least, put out a nice statue or two of the new armors.

Iron Man Teaser Trailer Coming Sept. 10!
Source: the reel chris September 5, 2007
Iron Man director Jon Favreau has announced that the first official teaser trailer will be revealed on September 10:
For those of you who have been Jonesing to see the Comic Con footage, we now have an official teaser trailer that incorporates much of the same imagery. Paramount is debuting the piece in its entirety across the Viacom Network's highest rated programs. The first appearance will be immediately before the Hills on MTV on 9/10. I've listed the schedule of other slots that Paramount marketing has sent me below.
A hi-res version will appear on Apple.com/trailers on 9/11 for those of you who, for whatever reason, choose not to TiVo The Hills.

Nothing but Marvel acolytes targeting me trying to make me feel pressured in some kind of showdown...and I'm really not. )
Rogue, you of all people should know that I'm not a Marvel Acolyte ( actually, that sounds like a lame villain ) ); but the Iron Man trailer does have an edginess and badass quality to it that I've yet to see from anything with Dark Knight. I really hope Nolan and WB get off their duff and release their own teaser with some actual footage so that I can feel good about that movie as well. Right now, all I have is a batsuit that looks very little like a batsuit, a batcycle that doesn't look all that impressive and a Joker who looks very little like the Joker. As Favreau has shown, it's never too early to spark word of mouth.

C'mon, my friend...it's Batman, it's Nolan and I think that Ledger's performance will surprise quite a few in a good way. Batman is already a proven commodity so teasing the masses doesn't really bother me at all. No need to panic.
Iron Man has to throw his hat in the ring for several reasons I'm sure. Off the top, it'll be his first outing...Don't get me wrong, I cannot wait to see Shellhead hopefully once or twice when it comes out but c'mon.
Besides, I've gathered intel as to why the Batsuit looks like that because it's an integral part of the film and don't take The Joker at face value(no pun intended) .
Nolan's track record speaks for itself and I truly hope that he can do The Prisoner movie very soon. B-)
I usually keep my word on things like this; if Bats sucks big time, you'll hear it from me big time.

And if it's a great film, I'll gladly eat my slice of humble pie (it tastes like chicken anyway). I'm just jonesing for some actual footage. If I recall, some clips were shown at the last WizardWorld and I'm surprised they haven't made it onto the web yet.

So why couldn't the Batman teaser manage to have any footage in it, again?
If you only knew just how many times I've heard this line over the last 24 hours... 8-)

Batman will be just fine.
I don't really care for the comedy in the trailer but I chalk up Stark's behavior as pre-IM before he sees the error of his ways I guess.
I just love the ending to this though where he's flying. Very cool.

I have no idea about Iron Man baddies, so I'd guess it's that big robot thing we see before the nice shot of Iron man...?
