New French Poster

A variation on the main poster we've seen but looks very real to me:

Plus I've heard that there's more variations on the poster to come with shots of Bond walking along.

Thats quite lovely really - I think it looks far more 'aware of itself' than the US version. It knows what its trying to be - A Bond poster.

Still has the PhotoCraig problem, but not as shining as the previous poster.

But yes, this looks a lot more like Bond 8even knowing is the same image, the silouette makes a difference...

Sadly no Vesper face though...

I like the poster and I think Craig looks great. I don't like the placement of the silouett of Vesper. At first I thought it was Bonds shadow. Its like Bond casting the shadow of a woman:#

Nice variation...you can never go wrong showing a bit of Aston Martin.

And the silhouette is nice.

Huge improvement over the US 1-Sheet. I'm starting to feel a lot more positive about the possibility of a yet-again-different British version.

I like this poster too, the powers-that-be seem to be trying something different with the posters as well. If anybody knows where to get one of these, please let me know.

My differences on DC notwithstanding, that looks much better than the American version which just plainly sucks.


The inconsistent lighting on Craig's figure fits much better on this more collaged composition.

I'm not terribly keen on this 'French' version at all- I'm glad the UK one has lost the big 007 as it wasn't needed at all and looks a little surplus to my mind- but on the whole it just looks a bit of a step backward. There's no focus of ideas to it- the woman silhouette could be from any Bond movie.

But we've already got one on there. And I dunno- I think if you've got a bloke in a dinner suit with a gun most people are going to piece that together. Too many of the recent posters have just slung a big 007 logo in there and I think it's a bit lazy. Plus, personally I'm going off it a bit: I'm not sure it's very up to date anymore.

The teaser poster was progressive in just the right way- still Bond but with a different feel. This is just too much like old ones. Er... they did change it. This is the re-jigged 1995 version of the logo. I like the gun logo, but I think this particular ten-year old version is looking a little creaky. Might just be overfamiliarity; not sure.

The French poster is certainly the best of all the "final" posters I've seen so far. I must get that poster. Anybody seen any other countries posters yet ?

I really prefer the UK quad we can see on eBay. The simplicity of it, and the empty space give a nice air of arrogance, suggesting that nothing need be said - this is a Bond film :007)
