Walther LP53

I have a genuine Walther LP53 that I am looking to sell. Those that are in the know will tell you this is the ´luft pistol´used in poster such as ´Moonraker´ and other JB movie advertising.

I am not claiming this is the actual gun, as I believe, that was sold at christies a while ago for 14,000?

Anyway, if anyone wants to make a serious offer, please mail me. will post photos later.

Thanks

I don't want this site to be shut down (I have a fondness for it) so I must remind people that it is an international/federal offense to sell firearms on sites like this.

In Australia, this law extends to immitation/fake firearms too (such as plastic movie prop handguns and other weapons, for instance).

How much do you want for it? What is the condition? Is the barrel tip worn/ turning white? Got any pictures

Ah...all of you talk about LP53 !! I have original one, not model, not toy. It works with lead bullet no.1 size and still no rust. I don't know how much they pay for it in the gun market. If who knows the price, pls advise....tks

I have seen people ask as much as $650 for one in mint condition, but as far as what they sell for, the usual price is about $175, I saw one sell last year at a show, the seller had been askin $500 and it had significant wear. Please, make sure you are selling this legally, even airguns and props are illegal in places.

$175 is about how much I paid for mine, which I think is about right for a specimen in decent but used condition, without the presentation box and wooden barrel cocking lever. However, they're pretty hard to come by.
