This book arrived in the post today, and I must say it is one of the best Bond books I've ever owned. First an foremost, it is a real visual treat with several rare photographs, and a generous amount of new pictures from Casino Royale (including one from the torture sequence, which looks quite a nasty scene!). Its also really easy to "dip in" to, because all of the next in the book is made up of quotes. I'd definitely recommend investing in this book, as it is one of the best (and nicest looking) bond books in a long time.

I had a flick through the book a few days ago, and it looks very good indeed. A new perspective on the Bond films is always welcome, and I have long been interested in the creative process that goes into making a film. I also noted the still from the torture scene, although didn't spend too long looking at the CR bits in fear of spoilers!!

I will definitely buy this book, but I will wait until I can get a lower price.

The book's RRP is £30, but Amazon.co.uk have it for £15. Definitely a steal!

I do like it and it's worth buying for the lovely photos and Ken Adam sketches alone, but I was a little disappointed by the printing. It seems to have been printed matte which doesn't make it feel very high quality. And the cover is dreadful!

This is a great book to browse through, in the same league as The Legacy from DAD's time, but better as a bedtime read, as The Legacy was a quite unwieldy coffee table number.

Fraid for this guy it falls down with Craig's shots, but there you go...

Yee Haw.....I just got mine in the mail today. I am too friken tired to appreciate it right now, so will save it for this weekend. Did thumb through and it looks fantastic.

I also received "The Science of James Bond: from Bowler Hats to Boat Jumps, the Real Technology behind 007's Fabulous Films" it looks like mostly text so should be a good reference.

.......AND to top it off....my "James Bond Movie Posters 2007" Calendar. :x

Got it for Christmas and was hugely disappointed at the text which has nothing at all to do with the pictures. No captions even!
Nice pictures, though.

I received the book for Christmas, too . . . and loved it. Although the lack of connection between the text and photos seems somewhat strange at first, it's a minor complaint. In fact, I really enjoyed the text. It's like an oral history of the creativity behind Bond!

The Book People still have it at £8.99. I have just ordered mine. I wasn't going to bother but I have only heard positive things about it so I thought I would treat myself.

The Book People are great and can have some fab deals. They're always worth a look before you buy anything.

I just bought this book a few weeks ago at a local bookstore here in Virginia. It's a great book! I especially like all the quotes from others who are not involved with the Bond franchise, like Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. There are some great highlights in this book, and some very candid shots. I've learned a lot about the franchise I didn't know before. Another book I definitely recommend is "Bond On Set: Filming Casino Royale" by Greg Williams. There are not a lot of quotes and captions, but there are some great behind-the-scenes pictures you won't find anywhere else. It's a must, especially for big CR fans.

ken Adam is a brilliant artist, he GAVE the bond movies that 'look'
