Oh, and there's a nice new pic from the getting-off-the-plane bit here:

(Bond's the one on the right; just to nip any 'gags' in the bud! :D )

So, is the pic of the nude Bond from the infamous torture scene? The shot goes pretty far below the equator. . .I'm wondering if this film won't get an "R" rating! :o

It's not the one from 'Art of Bond'; no. That one is a much longer shot and from slightly behind and to the side of Bond. He's very naked in that, natch! :D

That top shot of him holding the gun looks good enough to be a poster alone!

Those are some great-looking pictures, especially the mug shot. Craig looks great. I'm really jazzed to see the film.

I know what you mean, but at least with me you'd be correct. :)) I can't open on that particular picture, but I've seen no evidence whatsover of a receding hairline on Danny Boy so far. Not at the crown, the temples nor the brow. I doubt whether this picture is the smoking gun you claim it is. A lot of people mistake short haircuts for receding hairlines because a lot of people with receding hairlines wear their hair very short.

I would have to agree with you on this. Craig's hair is cut extremely short but in no way IMO is it evidence that he has a receding hairline. I think he's ugly but I also think he's got all his hair. :D

To be honest,so far almost every picture I´ve seen of Craig as Bond is simply superb. That mug shot could be the face of James Bond I always had at the back of my mind when reading the books, I never imagined a particular actor.

Jude Law, Brad Pitt, etc. all have no hair on their temples. It is the thing to do right now I guess. They don't all have receding hairlines.

Thank God he doesn't have a receding hairline---we can't have a bald guy playing Bond...!

God forbid! I could eventually like Craig, but a bald actor would be just too much! Who do Babs and Michael think they are? ...Well, maybe Albert and Harry...

You're such a spoilsport emtiem. There was so much scope for hilarity here, even if you like Craig! :)

Well, Jude Law is certainly receding no question. A short haircut shows it up more, however.

It's no worse than Dalton was in his first film, but it catches up with you...

Although these are only photos of photos, they are huge in size. If you right click them and select 'open in new window' or tab, they will open on their own and you'll get a better look.

Looks like the firing range is just Craig boning up on his weapons technique rather than anything from the movie.

I got a chance to see this book in a store yesterday. I did not buy it because I'm not really enough of a collector for that sort of thing, but I can vouch that for those who are it seems like money well-spent. It looked terrific, with some really great shots both from the movie and from the set. There's even a candid black and white shot -- and this might be my favorite from the whole book -- of Craig hugging a woman in a hotel room just before heading to his introductory press conference on the Thames a year ago, looking a little like a man about to be fed to sharks (if he only knew -- talk about your worst fears being realized). And just to stir up the pot a little, there were a couple of extreme closeups of Craig that I think demonstrate quite clearly that he looks like a guy in his 30s, and his early 30s at that, not 50s, as some have suggested (Makeup is not a factor here -- any application of pancake would have shown up). There's barely a line on his face, although he does indeed look tough and "craggy," which I guess some people view as "ugly." Nice pic of Craig in character walking through the casino, similar to the one we have seen somewhere on this site. He's looking a bit apprehensive -- no doubt thinking that if he screws up, Her Majesty's government will have financed terrorism, as the trailer warns. Also, Eva and Caterina look foxy (I don't care how sexist this sounds: Caterina should be forbidden from wearing anything but a bikini -- and that's only in instances where there is a risk of extreme frostbite.).

I've just ordered it on overstock.com; their price is $21.95; not bad.

This should help pass the time until the movie comes out... B-)

Got the book today; it's really quite cool, with great candid shots of all the principals; one of my favourites is a close-up of Bond, made up 'bloody' to look as he does after the roll of the Aston...and several lovely shots of the delectable Caterina Murino and Eva Green---one in particular features Ms. Green in a terrycloth robe, her hair up in a towel after shooting the beach sequence---no makeup; just a great smile. ;)

    I highly recommend it. :007)

Recieved Greg William's 'Bond On Set' Filming Casino Royale today, and was wondering whether anyone else had bought this book.(The release date of the book was very unclear - some sites said October 25th, others just said November???)
It's got some fantastic pictures of Daniel Craig and the beautiful Eva Green. There's some nice photography, but nothing new that other pictures already released haven't shown.
I've never bought any of the previous Greg William's 'Bond On Set' books, so can't compare this release with previous films, I was wondering whether anyone else could add any input.

I think DAD was Williams' first 'Bond on Set' book (according to the forward in the CR book by Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson); perhaps other photographers worked on previous editions...?

I don't have the DAD edition (or any others), but I might well look into it, as I thoroughly enjoyed the CR volume---high-quality photos, capturing unexpected moments during production.

Of course, the cover of the CR 'Bond on Set' is pure dynamite---and I also love the shots of Bond at Lake Como, Italy, in the blue three-piece suit, holding the silenced assault rifle :007)

If that doesn't get a Bond fan's heart racing, I'm hard put to imagine what will..

I got an opportunity to look through this book at the bookstore yesterday. Some pretty amazing photos of Craig...altogether a neat package. Aside from the photos, towards the end there is a Q&A between the photographer and Craig which *gasp* was very enjoyable. Craig conveyed quite the dry sense of humor. I actually laughed out loud and some of the droll comments. It would appear that some of the unnecessary and potentially offensive profane injections were professionally edited out, which really made the discussion really focused and less muddy
