Beyonce doesn't seem at all like a good fit to me. I've never found her particularly attractive and she hasn't shown me that she has either the presence or acting chops to pull off a role like that. Her motivations for seeking out the part seem kind of shallow as well.
A black Wonder Woman kind of flies in the face of the comic book character and while I'm not averse to the idea it comes back to what I've always said: you need somebody who looks great but also has presence and some acting chops, otherwise they'll look ridiculous.

Sorry, doesn't convince me. ) I'm not the world's biggest fan of Megan Gale, she's too inconsistent IMO, but Megan Fox's eyes just look really odd to me. For some reason, they don't seem to match her face. Megan Gale is not my dream woman, but I do think that she is capable of being gorgeous, as opposed to Megan Fox.
As for Beyonce, I won't disagree with you about her being less than ideal, but what on earth is wrong with her thighs? She's a real (granted not the most attractive) woman.

I will concede to you a great many things, but Craig's Bond being one of the finer things in life is not one of them. But at least, I'm not completely opposed to three of the four things you mentioned.

And as for the Beyonce/WW thing, that part is debatable (personally I wouldn't want to see that because WW of of Greek orgins respectively) but for ANY MAN that fails to feel their loins go into overdrive for her curvaceous body should head to their nearest pawn shop and hock their "johnson"...you no longer need it. 8-)

Wow, I don't check this thread for a few hours and this is what I find. Rogue and Night at each others throats, Alex threatening to censure Dan (no that he doesn't deserve it), etc.
Just a few random thoughts:
- With regard to Beyonce: whenever she opens her mouth one thought springs to my mind: V-A-P-I-D. She may be attractive, she may be sweet, she may be approachable, she may be bootylicious, but she completely lacks presence; something I associate strongly with WW. WW has to be desirable but also formidable and even a little intimidating. Not too many people can nail that combination, certainly not Beyonce as far as I'm concerned.
- With regard to Dan admitting he has unconventional tastes: that's like saying the pope is catholic; the most obvious and unnecessary revelation of the day. One more thing Dan, you cannot call yourself a Star Trek fan until you've seen some of TOS. That's not an opinion, that's a fact.
- With regard to Megan Gale, she will never be Wonder Woman for one simple reason: she is a complete non-entity who hasn't been within a thousand miles of an even moderately mainstream film or TV show. I'm also not completely sold on her looks; her appearance is really inconsistent from image to image and her face looks downright plain a lot of the time (witness Nightshooter's image). Oh, and she has some really scary man-hands. Check them out sometime.
- With regard to Megan Fox: I honestly don't think she will ever be Wonder Woman either. While I think she could pull off the character (she defintely has that combination of sex appeal and imposing presence that I mentioned) she strikes me as too much of an immature rebel to be attached to something like that. She freaks out at the mere mention of her lifestyle or tattoos (and then promptly goes and gets another one etched onto her - at the rate she's going she should pass Angelina Jolie by the end of the month). She really needs to grow up a little, because with her kind of attitude, she'll wear out her welcome pretty quickly.
Now back to our regularly scheduled bloodletting. Carry on...
