    Emtiem does touch upon an incongruity here, but then this is a sign of how EON have started messing about with the timeline, preferring to emphasise Bond's iconic trappings.

    I'm with Dan Same, there's nothing in previous films that obviously contradict previous events. If CR had a male M who looked like Bernard Lee, maybe that would be okay... it would still look odd however. You don't really want a prequel like Phantom Menace as you feel you know how it's gonna turn out. In a weird way, that's how it's gonna be with Craig from now on... oh my head hurts... :s

    It's worse. You end up with a situation where a bratty kid ends up becoming one of the greatest villains of all time. X-( :D
