I'm with Dan Same, there's nothing in previous films that obviously contradict previous events. If CR had a male M who looked like Bernard Lee, maybe that would be okay... it would still look odd however. You don't really want a prequel like Phantom Menace as you feel you know how it's gonna turn out. In a weird way, that's how it's gonna be with Craig from now on... oh my head hurts...

It's worse. You end up with a situation where a bratty kid ends up becoming one of the greatest villains of all time. X-(
