Also compiled a brief history of film gadget watches;

The Gilbert always seemed silly: Huge, obtrussive, awkward.
The Moeris has turned-up several times on eBay recently; very handsome watch. Reasonably affordable, too, though probably for the very reason I haven't acquired one: Nothing about Bond on the face.
I have seen a few other analogs with the 007 logo in the dial but not sure they're legitimately vintage; it often appears more like an afterthought than an actual design element.
Great to collect now but I always wonder what sort of person buys something to use or wear that has James Bond or 007 on it? If they want to be like Bond he would not wear anything saying who he was? If you want to be like Bond just use and wear good quality classic stuff, mind you lots of people have bought Omega watches with 007 on them!!! - its a funny old world
