I drove all around L.A. today taking pics of Casino Royale posters,
billboards, etc. Here's my little CR photo safari. Enjoy.

Nice little adventure Zencat, I think the CR poster campaign in LA looks good. Haven't noticed many in Chicago and have to add last week while in San Diego watching television in my hotel room, I must have seen 10 commercials for the DVD's for every one promoting CR.

Nice adventure there zencat. Just up the coast here in the SF Bay Area, I've seen posters on the side of buses and of course the tv commercials. I haven't gone into San Francisco, but I'm sure theres taxis and sides of buildings with the posters. BTW, bonus points for your adventure being made on a Mac.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

It's nice to see them pushing it hard (it is LA, though. You can't throw a rock in that town without hitting someone who's in the movie industry...if any town is going to push a film hard, this is the one). Really nice website...a great peek at their 'blitzing' technique. I still think the overall marketing imagas are lackluster though. Even the '007' is pretty low-key. I don't think there pushing hard enough that this is a Bond film...it's only slightly better than the LTK campaign here in the US, I fear.

Can't miss it can you, good to see though and it's a classy poster campaign too.

Well, it certainly looks like it's quite hard to avoid Casino Royale in L.A.

Speaking as a Brit. I am always interested in the American view of all things James Bond, especially now. I am eagerly awaiting the US audiences reaction to Casino Royale, Daniel Craig, the re-boot etc.

Considering you can't move in the UK without seeing Daniel Craig at the moment or hearing something on the news or radio about CR... Heck, even me ol' dad was complaining earlier "Is there anything on the news other than bloody Bond??" :D

I know what you mean. I have seen four seperate interviews with Daniel Craig in the last 24 hours, and they were all with the BBC. One with BBC News, one with Jonathan Ross on Film 2006 (BBC1), another with BBC Breakfast, and another with BBC Newsround.

There's a real buzz amongst the media (in the UK) for Casino Royale. Perhaps more so for any Bond film since GoldenEye at least.
