Pen/Pocket Knives

Firstly, before I start may I introduce myself.

Yes, it's true, I am a real life J. Bond :007). And can I say how surprised I am that no one has chosen my user name.


On to my post. Can anyone tell me if in any of the films (or indeed books on Bond), if at any point he has been observed using any kind of pen or pocket knife. Preferably one that appeared to be his.

I am slowly starting my 007 collection, but have very little cash so I am just going for the small things for the time being. I do know that there are some 007 badged knives on the market, but these just appear to be jumping on the movie bandwagon. What I am looking for are the items that 007 himself has used, whether the manufacturers consented/actively marketed this fact or not.

But you have a very good question, and I'm no expert, but those collectors might have a better input on it than I do.

Welcome, Cmdr, but I must disagree with JFF--your post is in the correct forum. We've had plenty of General discussion topics on the lines of, "What shirt is Bond wearing in--?" and the like. 'Fraid I don't have an answer for you, but someone likely will!

I can certainly think of throwing knives, etc., but no pen or pocket knives, certainly nothing where the you'd be able to look-up the manufacturer with an aim toward purchasing one.

Sorry if I started off on the wrong foot CmdrBond! Didn't mean to give you the wrong impression but maybe I read your post wrong... no hard feelings?

Anyway, there is a poison pen in OP, but I don't believe it was a knife...
