I had to think about the shaken not stirred response for a few days, and I have to say all-in-all it was the best line in the movie. I tried to avoid all the preview and spoilers and luckily I did not know that was coming. It shocked, excited, and humored me all at the same time. The more I think about it, the better it gets. Well done!!! ;% )
Then there's "Everyone will know you died scratching--" Oh, but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet! :007)
Hands down, my favorite. To use a dreadful pun...the line and the attitude it portrayed were just so ballsy -- the equivalent of Bond saying "f--- you".
I like this line because it is directly from the book and you see Bond's hardened side come through more now after he has hit rock botton and picked himself back up.
"The Bitch is dead now."
I can't remember how Bond says it, but the part when he says something to Le Chiffre about Weeping Blood. Everyone in the theater went ooooo as in like "burn!" it was awesome. Opening night had the most lively crowd ive ever been to a movie with. They were all into it and laughing and crying! Except for 3 crossdressing guys(seriously) who sat in the front row and made fun of it the whole time. I ended up nailing one in the back of the head with a peanut M&M.(remember I play softball so it was rather hard)They shut it a bit after that. losers.
I love the whole movie, the scenes and lines flow perfectly and seemless. Total Classic.
Great job, everyone. A wealth of great lines to add to the ever-growing Bond library.
One more:
Bond regains consciousness.
Bond: You O.K.?
Vesper: Me?
That got a good laugh from the audience at my screening.
I'm thinking we could practically list every line from the movie on this thread, the script was so well written. It was just so intelligent and dramatic and exciting and fun. No wonder it took so long to produce. I can understand why there will be no Bond film for 2007. We wouldn't want to rush them.
One of my favorite lines is not a line at all. After Vesper tells Bond she sized him up on the train, he's left with absolutely nothing to say except for a stilted gasp.
Though I will also go for the scene where Bond gets his locater implanted.
"OWW!"
But I'll also stick in my keen favoring of Felix's line when everyone around the table is ordering the same thing 007 ordered. "Keep the fruit."

when Felix Leiter first reveals himself and offers to front Bond the buy-in money, Bond protests, Felix says "does it look like we need the money?"
after the first session of the poker game, Vesper approaches Bond, Bond keeping up the role play exclaims "you want to do WHAT to me?"
'yes considerably'
Absolute class!
Bond: Yes, that last hand nearly killed me.
