I liked it short more tbh. He has a high hairline, but definitely short looks better.

Honestly, his hair isn't much longer in those pics than what he wears in the movie. So either is fine with me. I actually like the Casino Royale hair cut.

it is considerably longer otherwise you could not achieve his "sideways" style of hair, don´t know how you exactly call this style in english :-)

anyway, i hope he will have this in the second movie, cause he looks more polished (but for the first film the short haircut served its purpose, cause he looked more action :-)

Think it's a "side parting". Not that long though. I'm sure when they unveiled him as bond he had even longer hair.

It strikes me how his hair colour is like Roger Moore's. There is no problem having a Bond with brown hair.

yeah, for me they seem quite darker than in the movie

For sure, this is the haircut DC needs to sport in the next one.

Yeah, looks great. Sort of lile Connery´s in GF. And the hair colour is just right. He looks more Bondish each passing day.

What is up with this thread. Look, I am sorry, but Daniel Craig doesn't look spectacularly different with the hair that he had in the movie and the hair in the pictures provided for the topic at hand.

He has a big forehead, and he has light hair. So, with that combination, and others that I may not have caught, he will not look drastically different.

I think his hair in the movie looked good and reflects the modern way of wearing your hair. he doesn't look all prepped up and the hair, in the movie, reflects that. Clean cut and down to the point. Why have long hair so that he has to comb it and look like a little pretty boy.

He looks better (hmm, do you think that hair's been worked on?) and I noticed his skin is better these days (esp on Parky), he looked quite rough in the movie imo.

Watakushi no namae wa Bondo, Jeimusu Bondo, akanbo.

I think he looks quite professional with long hair, however, if we could just use that Photoshop to make it brown in the film, even more Bondian.

I personally don't care about Craig's hair, but the pix struck me for another reason...hey Danny, would it be asking too much for you to look you want to be there? Jeez, he looks like he can't wait to hightail it out of town. How about a smile???

I don't think he looks like he doesn't want to be there, Hill. It's just that he's still new to the Hollywood publicity business and is probably a little overwhelmed by it. He hasn't yet acquired the Tom Cruise reflex in which your teeth flash whenever they're within 100 yards of a camera. I'm sure he will soon enough, and we'll be treated to all the fake "actorly" smiles we can stomach. Personally, it's a little bit refreshing to see someone just being themselves instead of being "on" all the time (like Cruise).

Ok, so you prefer "the movie hair" but your icon is exactly how Craig is cooler, means longer hair :-)

No no no, not exactly. I like the idea of James Bond and who he is but lets be frank, other than th person that Fleming had in mind when he was writing the books, we need to deal with contemporary looks. Therefore, long had, in society today, is common but now we have shorter trends that are just as common. Understand? I don't have a problem with him having the short hair. If the movie has new up to date cars, language, ways of expressing ones self, clothes, etc. why can't the hair be updated as well?

I don't know if I'm alone in thinking this but I think the Craigster would have looked a lot better without the body-building. A hair-cut closer to the one he had at the press conference may have helped too. I just can't get my head around James Bond with a crew-cut. And a blonde one to boot! {:)

Sorry Mr. Pringle but I believe the opposite of everything you just said.

I think Craig's hair looks better relatively short, the premiere picture being as long as I think looks best on him. the pictures with longer hair. from the original press confrence I've never liked, don't ask me why I just prefur the shorter hair.

If Bond 22 follows pretty much straight on from Casino Royale, as is what has been hinted at. then I wouldn't be suprised if Craig's hair is the same as in CR. however I like the side parting look. he looks more neat.

I think it would fit if for Craig's third film, Bond 23. a Bond having put the buisness with Vesper to bed and most likely starting with Bond bored in London waiting for a new assignment. the side parting is the more classy look and would fit if Craig did a more classic bond film.

Personally, I want James Bond, not David Cameron :))

Roughened and practical is the new Bond as far as I am concerned, slick and over polished is no longer relevant if we take the reboot as a reboot. By all means make him more experienced, sharper and well dressed, getting some of the gadgets etc but IMHO we don't need the return of the 'khaki-suited superspy'.

And really, if the film hinges on his hair colour we might as well be watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy :))

I think Craig looks best with shorter hair, no longer than the length in these photos. He's got a classic look about him, with a grown man's forehead, decent bone structure, and defined features, so there's no reason for him to look like a shaggy teenager. If he had a microforehead or a long or thin face, I'd say give him longer hair to give his face proportion, but he doesn't have that problem. Plus, most ex-military guys I know keep their hair pretty short regardless of the current trend . . . the Bond that Craig represents strikes me as the sort of guy who wants a practical, not stylized, haircut.

    LOL! Nice. :D :))

So the hair controversy has gone from what color should it be to what length should it be? :p

IMO the short hair worked fine.

Film 22 will be a close cropped haircut. Film 23 Craig will be sporting a nice waxed bald head. That way he can wear various gadget wigs for his new assignments. :s

LOL...thats exactly what I thought. After looking at a few pics my first thought was "Wow, big Dan must have been drinking a few the night before." PS Please note that judging by my wife's response Craig looked way better in the movie.

I think the reason he doesn't smile much is he doesn't look as good smiling. He gives a little grin, but never a full smile. I myself never smile either. Although if I was James Bond, I probably wouldn't stop.
