I was recently listening to Rehab by Amy Winehouse. Cool song. -{
"He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back—that’s an earthquake. and then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman
"Catch The Wind", from my good friend Mary Kathleen Burke's debut album A Song In Her Heart. She has a wonderful voice. I was at the launch party earlier today and she sang that song (written by Donovan) as well as a few others.

What counts is what the heroine provokes, or rather what she represents. She is the one, or rather the love or fear she inspires in the hero , or else the concern he feels for her, who makes him act the way he does.

As the lone mega-metal, moody, melancholic and mad moderator, I am listening to (Take These) Chains (off of my heart) by the incomparable Judas Priest.

As I happened to be chatting to a local in the pub on Saturday night (Barbel might know of him, Largs chappy by the name of Graham Lyle), this aptly came on my iPod on the way home tonight. Doubly apt since the opening line is "Left a good job in the city..." (though in my case, for a better one on the rural Ayrshire coast )
Tina Turner Proud Mary (live)
And though I do have a decidedly ropey musical taste at times, and care I do not, I absolutely DETEST The Feeling and can't bare anything beyond their opening bars...

I can understand where your coming from, Moonie. It's my wife's fault that I like them - honest - although Sewn is a great track. The Feeling re-hash songs from their parents record collection, you can certainly pick out the influences, and I guess it's harmless pop. One thing you can't argue is that they CAN play LIVE !
Anyway, The Feeling are my guilty pleasure - I thank you ! ;%
Here's a great track you should all hear more of pretty soon - The Ting Tings and Great DJ.

The Clash - Clash City Rockers
For probably the 100th time this week lol. Love the Clash, though only came across them a few months back. Am now well chuffed after learning to play this one last night, along with Police and Thieves and Motorhead's Ace of Spades.
Sabotage by the beastie boys. Great song, HILARIOUS music video! I usually don't really enjoy music videos but this one is GREAT!

Listening to various Primal Fear songs. Tomorrow I open a new CD I bought. Recommended to me by a friend who told me about Primal Fear. Infact, this group will be touring with Primal Fear. The CD is called Savage Souls by Mystic Prophecy.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Everybody needs at least one musical skeleton in their closet - and I hope The Feeling are the only one in mine
I'm currently listening to the album Seventh Tree by Goldfrapp - it's all breathy-folkmusic-like at the moment. A grower.
Anyway, here's Little Bird and a great live-lounge version of It's Not Over.
