Can you believe that she's 71? She still looks and sounds great!

The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill by the Beatles
Was flicking through their albums on itunes and decided it had been a while since id had a listen to The White Album. This one has really caught my attention. I'm not feeling fantastic so its all very relaxing. :x
Still hungover from a fantastic 1981-themed birthday party on Sunday, but among all the tunes that took me back to my rather young days, you gotta include the early 80s cheesy pop!
And nothing could top early 80s cheesy pop more than Scottish folk singer Mary Sandeman, when she decided to shove chop sticks in her hair and do a turn as a Japanese as a joke... Aneka - Japanese Boy (She could teach Connery a thing or two in YOLT)
Well the M&S Xmas advert with that theme was certainly DAD influenced - was at Slough a few months ago and saw Torville and Dean rehersing it for the start of Dancing on Ice

Just picked up Nine Inch Nails newest Ghosts I-IV. This is one I have to sit down and really listen to. I have it in mY car right now, so I hear it, but can't listen to it. For those who might be interested, this is a all instrumental album. I don't even know why it has a NIN label. It looks like it's Trent Reznor playing music with guests. In conclusion, from what I've heard, it sounds very good. Give me a couple of hours to listen to both disks on good headphones and I'm sure I'll be more than happy.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Extremely obscure glam-metal from 1977...these guys were a contrived by-product of Kiss, Alice Cooper and the Rocky Horror Picture Show {:) When I was a junior in high school, I was a summertime disc jockey at my hometown college FM radio station, and we used to give this LP a lot of play...
I hadn't heard it in 30 years...but one day I found a copy on Ebay---cost me $4 American to purchase, and $7 to ship from Ontario, Canada ) I had a mate transfer it to CD, and now it is playing triumphantly on my computer :v

Shirley Bassey lends her voice to the chart-topping song originally made famous by Pink.
Seems like an unusual choice for our Dame, but she really nails this one.
