Listening to some excellent 1960s R&B mainly Georgie Fame - 1962-1964 The Mod Years and stuff by The Courteeners, Ocean colour Scene's new album and some Paul Weller.

I love the Kinks - apparently Ray Davies is helping on a future film about the band apparently the main focus will be the relationship between himself and his brother. It will kind of show that Noel and Liam from Oasis were not the first to have sibling rivalry affecting their careers.
If you like the Kinks be sure to listen to The Small Faces also.

Oh yeah...big fan of the Small Faces as well...and I've always been a fan of the Kinks (saw them in concert back in '83, caught a drumstick and lost it in the subsequent struggle, LOL)...but recently I've been diving into a few of the lesser known album cuts...looking forward to a Kinks documentary, naturally!

I'm not entirely sure but it may actually be more like a feature film -like the movie about The Doors, or Backbeat about The Beatles.
One biopic which has never happened but Mike Myers was supposed to be playing the part -is a film about Keith Moon- The Who's crazy drummer. Now that could have been fantastic if handled properly.

(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman, by The Kinks
Not the superb live version (from One For The Road)...or the original album cut from Everybody's In Show Biz...but the extended "Disco Remix" (from the 'Ultimate Collection' double CD set)...runs about 7 minutes and kicks ass with great, witty assurance B-)

I was thinking, do you use "Deezer" in UK or USA? Because the site has french roots and is very famous in France!
PS: To answer the question I'm listening to Buena Vista Social Club "Chan Chan", moulto bene! (know it's italian but it is close to spanish-cuban language ).
Once you've started to read this it is just too late for you to understand that it has no meaning at all!
Finally found it.... been chasing this song for a while - The Raconteurs Many shades of black

Drift Away ~ Doobie Gray
Sharp Dressed Man ~ ZZ Top
Rocket Man ~ Elton John
Wanted Dead Or Alive ~ Bon Jovi
All Along The Watchtower ~ Jimi Hendrix Experience
Just to name a few
