I love the Kinks - apparently Ray Davies is helping on a future film about the band apparently the main focus will be the relationship between himself and his brother. It will kind of show that Noel and Liam from Oasis were not the first to have sibling rivalry affecting their careers.

If you like the Kinks be sure to listen to The Small Faces also.

Oh yeah...big fan of the Small Faces as well...and I've always been a fan of the Kinks (saw them in concert back in '83, caught a drumstick and lost it in the subsequent struggle, LOL)...but recently I've been diving into a few of the lesser known album cuts...looking forward to a Kinks documentary, naturally! :)

I'm not entirely sure but it may actually be more like a feature film -like the movie about The Doors, or Backbeat about The Beatles.

One biopic which has never happened but Mike Myers was supposed to be playing the part -is a film about Keith Moon- The Who's crazy drummer. Now that could have been fantastic if handled properly.

(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman, by The Kinks

Not the superb live version (from One For The Road)...or the original album cut from Everybody's In Show Biz...but the extended "Disco Remix" (from the 'Ultimate Collection' double CD set)...runs about 7 minutes and kicks ass with great, witty assurance B-)

The video of the crying kid or the actual singer Bieber (it might be hard to tell the difference between the two ( {:) ;) :)) ) If the crying kid, there's a cool update to that. If you watch Jimmy Kimmel you saw it.
