I'm brushing up on a little Danish just now, so in that vein tonight's soundtrack (read *wind-up*) has been ...

    Aqua - Doctor Jones

    Whigfield - Saturday Night

    Alphabeat - Fascination

Go to bed Lexi, drink a cup of water and take a neurofen... :p

Or you'll be onto to Joni Mitchell and Amy Winehouse before long
    Like I am

Edit: Actually that does sound a bit like Amy, the Titanium one.

Sometimes i have this random song in imy head and I know it's from Bond, I can't remember where tho. One was the music that necros listens to when he takes over the safe house and another was the msuic playing when Bond goes to check out Gonzales place at the start in FYEO

Can't get it out of my head, but even more so, I can't get her whole 1960s Hollywood gorgeous looks out of my head. Ignore her SNL performance, it was her only bad one IMO. Several comments on the video have now mentioned how it would be a great Bond theme too.

She looks particularly great at this part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bag1gUxuU0g#t=03m18s

I love the shuffle feature on my i-pod. It makes me listen to songs that I probably would never hear...

This track is by Vangelis and John Anderson So long ago, so clear (who can't be moved by JA... an icon for sure and responsible for one of my all time favourite albums '90125' B) )

Very nice, Lexi. And a very good video to go with it. It is just the kind of song which makes me relax and takes my mind away to a much better place. Long time fan of Vangelis especially. My favourite Jon and Vangelis collaboration is 'I'll Find My Way Home'. A great song.

I am one of those people of a certain age who became aware of Paul McCartney through Wings before becomin aware of him as a Beatle. I was about 11 years old when I first went into a shop to buy records. One of the three singles I bought that day was C Moon by Wings. It was an instant favourite and remains so to this day. When LALD was released I became a big fan and bought just about everything that was released over the following three years which included the albums Band On The Run, Venus And Mars and Wings At The Speed Of Sound.

Of all the wonderful stuff McCartney produced in that era its the Venus And Mars album that stands out the most for me, especially the reprise, which even now after all these years can still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Listen and (hopefully) enjoy. Venus And Mars (Reprise) 1975

I had a short letter printed in i newspaper last week saying Macca should be stripped of his knighthood for naming his new album, Kisses on the Bottom!

But yeah, the opening to that track is great. Love and Song off the same album is another little known gem, it's all George Harrison.
