Can't stand either Muse or Radiohead...both are just SO dull and boring
One of the best songs EVER written....The Beatles and Dear Prudence -{
A song written for Mia Farrow's sister when they were all in India visiting the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi...she would rarely come out of her hut...so John wrote this for her....hell of a sleazy bass line too -{

Been hearing this a lot lately as my housemate has been learning it on guitar. I love it.
I've been playing a Bob Dylan greatest hits album lots. My mate introduced me to a couple of his albums and I've yet to get past this one yet! Really should as I'm baffled as to why I had never got round to listening to Dylan before. Finally ended up doing so after a young lad called Jake Bugg was being compared to him. I've seen this lad twice now and his album is out this month. He was on Jools Holland earlier this year and looks set to do pretty well, there's definitely Dylan-ness in him.
So it's The Times Are A-Changing, as I saw Watchmen for the first time last night and this is used in the opening. But I'll also add It Ain't Me Babe as that is currently my favourite off this album.
He was cited by Lana Del Rey as one of the primary influences for the sounds and bygone summer feeling that she strived for on the Born To Die album. Not surprising given her prevalent fascination for the old American dream and "bad desires".
It sounds like American nostalgia at a summer concert 25 years ago to me.
This 10-minute video is beautifully done, fan or not. Based on her "love of all things dark and beautiful" and her "passion and revery for the country that America used to be."
Listening to Someday Out Of The Blue by Elton John. Up until last week, it was my tribute to a hopeful reunion between Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson for a new television show.
I've been going through a random 80's playlist has conjured up the likes of:
Opus - Live Is Life
The Art Company - Suzannah (don't ask)
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way
Yazoo - Don't Go
Visage - Fade To Grey
Duran Duran - Save A Prayer
Adam & The Ants - Dog Eat Dog

Jake Bugg album, particularly 'Someone Told Me' and 'Seen It All'.
Great young musician from Nottingham. I go past the estate where he's from every day on the bus, which is quite weird when I'm listening to him.
He was on Jools Holland earlier this year and seems to have been getting gradually bigger throughout this year. I've seen him live twice at festivals so it's great to finally be able to listen to him everyday. Everyone says he sounds like Dylan and yet IMO he's very much got his own sound.
He should go far.
