Sir George's work presents LALD with much of its eerie ambience (eg "Sacrifice") and early 70s "Shaft"-style atmosphere (the "Fillet of Soul" cues, his update of the Theme).
For Hamlisch's work, one only has to cite two pieces- "Bond 77" and "Nobody Does It Better"- to produce credentials.
Theme apart, there isn't much melodically to Conti's FYEO score bar some establishing cues such as "Cortina". The brass/synth combination which is prominent throughout dates it horribly (more noticeably than LALD a decade prior!).
Kamen's work was anonymous action music, and if a bar or two of the Bond Theme didn't keep cropping up one would be hard pushed to distinguish the LTK score from his music on any of the "Lethal Weapon" series (NB- HIS music; not any of the others involved).
Eric Sierra; simply the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time. The layers of synths didn't suit Bond films, and any plus points of the score were due to others.

I won't, but i will say one or two thing about him: his work is very similar, in fact, the Bond theme is the only thing that breaks apart from "the Professional" or "the Fifth Element". i like some tracks (not all of course) for "Being Bondian" or trying, but i like his work in other movies.
Bill Conti: sorry, i don't remember much of his work (except the gunbarrel with his Disco-hillarious) because i don't have his soundtrack.
Perhaps George Martin or... why not, Michael Kamen (not too 70's )
Marvin Hamlisch - I love the score, it's too bad that the album practically has NONE OF THE ACTUAL SCORE ON IT. Other than that, a solid entry.
Bill Conti - My favorite one here above ALL OTHERS. This is perhaps the best one EVER! It's so exciting, loony, crazy, and out there! Every track has an exciting moment and I could listen to the entire album while the others have a few weak-spots, it seems almost PERFECT!
Michael Kamen - I'm sorry, I was busy snoring due to the fact that this score is so boring that it's sleep-inducing. It's so generic with the Bond theme thrown in when it gets so boring. Bleh! I SAY BLEH!
Eric Sierra - A dark score that I love, with the beautiful ballad "We Share the Same Passions" and its variants, the dark "Goldeneye Overture", the sleek "Little Surprise for You", the energetic "Run, Shoot, Jump", the wacky "Ladies First", the ominous "Whispering Statues", the intense "Dish Out of Water" and the eclectic "Scale to Hell", this score is definitely underappreciated and is a great listen.
