Well considering "The Hobbit" fallout, he just might be available. 8-)

Everyone I've talked to applauded CR, so much so that it brought them to the theater for a second viewing. It really says something considering these are not Bond fanatics in the least bit. The men I've talked to were very impressed with the action, the torture scene in particular. As for women, I think they would have liked the film even if EON projected a still shot of Daniel Craig on the screen for two and a half hours. :)) Many people felt the film was going to end after Bond's resignation on the beach to be with Vesper, so length was an issue for some. One of my friends is not a fan of the Pierce Brosnan Era, and at the end of CR on opening night, knowing that I had doubts about Daniel Craig, he told me "@#$% you for doubting Daniel Craig!" :)) Although I'll admit that Daniel Craig was the right choice for the role, I am still not happy about the direction the series has taken and its disregard for continuity and traditional Bond elements. (sigh) These are not the best times for a Bond traditionalist. That said, it still cannot be denied that a hell of a good film has been made! {[]

Just about everyone I've talked to liked/loved it, and I've talked to a lot of people. My mom was the biggest doubter of them all, and she ended up loving it. Not one person has told me they hated it.

I haven't heard a bad review from anyone I know who's seen it; in fact, I've just returned from my fourth viewing (exactly two months after seeing it on opening day!) with a friend of mine...He is a 'casual' Bond fan who liked Brosnan, but was full of praise for Craig and CR as a whole.

Oddly enough, Casino Royale (the novel) is the only Fleming he's ever read, and he was surprised by how much of Act 2 had been carried over from the book.
