Ultimate Edition DVDs on IPod Video

Hello,

Santa brought my presently favourite gadget, an 80 GB IPod Video. After long sessions and consultations with someone, who knows more about computers than me (almost everyone seems to), I have been able to get all my old Special Edition 007 DVDs on the IPod.

Here comes the first question: As I am the legal owner on the DVDs, I assume, that I am not violating copyright when transfering the files to my personal IPod.

I am still considering to buy the actual UE and I think, that the copy protection is much tougher than on the old SE. Has anybody had trouble converting these DVDs on an IPod, and, what are your experiences?

as long as your not distrubuting the product you should be ok....as you have paid for the dvds and you have the right to do what you like with them for personal use.

I just tried Magic DVD Ripper to copy Dr No UE - no problem at all.
