Would women swoon over a man like James Bond in real life? Do women think this type of man too cheesy or masculine?

Bond doesnt seem to need a woman around to make him whole,as Vesper says ".....you treat women as disposable pleasures....."

Some women like to be used, and so Bond fits with that perfectly

Bond just wants women for a short period, then he moves on to the next. There are plenty of women in real life who wouldn't even careabout being treated like that.

Good Morning (well, it's morning on the East coast in the States!)-

Hmmm. Not sure whether you are joshing or serious but will reply as if it's the latter.

Having a few years on me and a few men in my past, I think it depends on where the woman is in her life.

When I was younger, I wanted a white picket fence, 2.5 kids, etc. As time has passed and my life has taken a different path, so have my ideas about what is/is not a romantic need.

When I look ahead and realize time passes SO quickly, I am not sure a Bond-like gent would be a problem. Every woman (and man for that matter) needs to take a wild ride every once and awhile!

So. Yes, women (and some men don't forget) would swoon over a man like James Bond in real life...and the lucky ones would look back with fondness rather than regret.

Depends on what you mean by "swoon"! It depends on what she was looking for!

He (the character in general) has so much pure cool and pure testosterone going on that many would be attracted and intrigued.

But an intelligent and reasonably mature woman would probably be very wary of getting involved with someone like him at any level beyond a one night stand / fling.

His prospects for a serious relationship seem pretty slim (I mean, historically it's like what - 2 out of dozens???)

But if she was looking for just adventure and what promised to be great sex, then he would be an excellent candidate!!!!

To quote Casino Royale:

there are many women nowadays who aren't intereted in long term relationship anyway. A Well heeled man as Mr. Bond would certainly attract lots of hot women with his Aston Martin.
