Bond VHS videos

Looking to get rid of my collection of Bond VHS vids if anyone is interested. I have films 1-16 - most are the silver case 25th anniversary editions from 1987 but some are slightly younger. I also have AVTAK and Goldfinger in original video release boxes with the promo poster covers, and a boxed OHMSS with postcards.

I'm not particularly interested in making money, I would just rather they go to someone who would appreciate them for what they are rather than the fella who runs my local cash and carry. So if anyone is interested in taking them off my hands, let me know.

Cheers

Do you have pictures? And if so, how much are you wanting to get for them?

I can do some pictures if you want to see them. Let me know.

I don't have any figure in mind. Just tell me what you think they're worth, I have no idea.

What happens when your VHS player dies and nobody makes them anymore?

Depends if you want them to watch or to complete a collection - I wouldn't have thought many people watch VHS anymore.

Indeed. That's the reason I posted it on here. I would hate to sell them to a local second hand shop if there is a geniune fan out there that wants them.

I'd like to see some pictures to see what they look like and would like to know how much you'd like for them.

Don't you mean 'donate' them to a 2nd hand shop rather than sell them?

Go on, do the decent thing, donate them to a charity shop ;)

I'm very interested myself. I just like to see a picture and know how much you'd like for them, plus how much the shipping would be and how I would get the money to you.

Because I own the special edition DVDs and I am in the process of replacing them with the ultimate edition DVDs. I need to make some space in my flat so it's time for the old vids to go.

Kees - I'm not sure on the shipping myself, didn't twig that you were overseas, might be a bit of a problem there

I'll be gone for a week. I'll be in L.A.. I just spoke with Trina Parks (Thumper of DAF) and we're either having dinner or lunch with her too. It should be fun. I think we're also visiting the location, where she shot her scene.

I think you've kind of missed the point of DVD's, they are in widescreen, and virtually never wear out, and the picture is clearer than VHS, I still quite like VHS but just burning your VHS to DVD isn't quite the same.

Also I do sometimes buy a DVD for the extra's.

You could just rent them all and copy them. But of course that is illegal so don't do it.
