I'm with you, Tee Hee -- TSWLM is awesome. But to keep the integrity of the game, I have to vote my most and least favorite from the current list. Sorry!

Kinda shocking, seeing TLD almost twice as far ahead/popular/whatever this game shows (lol) as TB. I could easily have done without TLD, but TB seems Bond bedrock, at least (and especially) in comparison.

I like FRWL, GF and OHMSS, but everyone likes them and it's so typical. TLD is subpar and I completely loathe of course CR and TB and want them off this list (as well as TLD because it features... Dalton *yuck*.)

Having just watched it (or tried to) last night, I totally agree. My biggest gripe is that, try as I might, I just can't accept Timothy Dalton as Bond. I've gone on enough about this lately, so I won't elaborate. It didn't help Dalton's case, though, that the makers of this film still had one foot stuck in the Moore era-- something entirely at odds with Dalton's whole approach to the character. Another criticism I have is that I found the girl very bland. On the awesome side, though, was Barry's excellent soundtrack-- the track that played during Nekros' "milkman" attack stands out to me as one of the most exciting songs of the whole series (that whole scene was really well executed and awesome).

Now, Lazenby. Did you read Fleming's TLD before you tried to watch it again? As for Kara being bland, I think that was the point of the filmmakers. She was meant to be a more innocent than usual Bond girl("that girl didn't know one end of a rifle from the other"), kind of like an innocent thrown into a world of intrigue and danger like in a Hitchcock film and I thought Maryam d'Abo played her part splendidly. That stated, I won't browbeat you if you're not fond of TLD. Some Bond fans(who shall remain nameless) have browbeaten me for not being as head over heels in love with FYEO as they are and I won't subject a fellow Bond fan(especially one who likes TB) to that kind of nagging. To each his own as I like to say.
After the Moore era, Dalton's Bond was a godsend. And the change from Moore is one of the things that make TLD a gem.

Well stated, Harry Palmer. As found as I am of Moore, he should have made OP his finale in the role. I thought that AVTAK had killed the series back in 1985 but Dalton and TLD brought it roaringly back to life. I remember walking out of the theater after TLD thrilled that Bond had a new lease on life. I'm glad I didn't know then that it would be another 19 years before another Bond film(CR) would come close to matching TLD in quality.

Yes yes... killing the series. There was another actor who almost killed the series once in another movie with "kill" in the title. I just can't put my finger on it though... what was it... ;)

Note the almost. Alright you asked for it ;).

JFF: Actors and their movies that almost killed the Bond franchise for 1000, Alex (not the mod) ;).

Alex: Name the actor and movie that almost killed the Bond series, this should be easy since it was the answer to every question in this category.

JFF: What is Licence to Kill starring Timothy Dalton?

JFF, one small correction. While the actor is Dalton, can't the movie be TLD? (LTK may have cemented the nails in Bond's temporary coffin, but TLD at least put Bond in the temporary coffin in the first place.)
