I'm not sure how much of a duel it will be as much of the OHMSS support brigade seems to have bowed out of the game. That said...let's have at it already!

"He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back—that’s an earthquake. and then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman
My thoughts exactly. But that being said it's his vote.
Exactly. If Son Of Barbel wants to vote for the greatest Bond film of all time, that is his choice! X-( )

I'm the man, the man with the midas touch.
Goldfinger is eliminated
God bless MNL!
Well, thank you, JFF!
I was rather mocking myself when referring to the man with the midas touch. I had voted for GF virtually every day since TSWLM was eliminated. Previously, I voted for TSWLM virtually every day since I entered the game. I have voted against OHMSS probably more than anyone else. My votes don't appear to count for much.
... and now the ultimate stalemate begins... FRWL or OHMSS
With only two movies I think there will be less chance of a stalemate, provided everyone who has been consistently playing keeps playing. So long as there is at least one more voting in one direction than the other it will go continuously in one general direction.

"A blunt instrument wielded by a Government department. Hard, ruthless, sardonic, fatalistic. He likes gambling, golf, fast motor cars. All his movements are relaxed and economical". Ian Fleming
In an effort to sway our misguided Chiefs of Staff Alex and Sir Miles I thought I would point out some of the reasons FRWL should be the #1 movie.
FRWL was CR before CR getting rid of the science fiction of DN and getting back to a more gritty realism. FRWL is a true spy story which pairs the argueably best director Terrance Young with the great Connery Bond.
FRWL is a ground breaking entry into the series bringing us for the first time the PTS, and Q and his gadgets. This story features some of the best villians of the series; Red Grant, Rosa Klebb, and Bonds arch enemy Blofeld. In addition FRWL features the beautiful Daniela Bianci as Tatiana Romanova.
OHMSS is a good movie that faithfully adapts another of Flemings best novels but it also brings us Bond crying and wearing a skirt.;)

I'm not all that devastated that GF has been eliminated. Thee are three reasons: One, this game hasn't exactly gone my way (with my favourites like GF, TB, DN and TSWLM being eliminated early and my least-favourites like TLD and even CR doing extremely well X-(), I realised long ago that GF would not win, and while I don't want OHMSS to win (it's only seventh on my list) I wouldn't mind at all if FRWL (second on my list) won.
Don't get me wrong, I hope Oddjob decapitates every person who voted against GF X-( but I will eventually overcome this tragedy. )
