I was 19 years old when I saved to make the down payment on this baby. I went to school during the day and worked my butt off at a decent job to get one of these:

My chick magnet meter shot up tremendously after I was seen cruising the Brooklyn streets in this baby. B-)

I remember me and a friend went and bought cars on the same day; I bought a brand new Cutlass & he bought an AMC Concorde. ?:)

I then decided I needed more muscle, so I traded 'ol Whitey for this bad boy:
a 2001 Ford Mustang (not my car pictured)
But tragically I was in a rear end accident. I survived the Mustang (named Charlene) didn't.
And lastly, my current car is a Silver 2005 Honda Civic LX:

These days I've moved up slightly to a Rover. Bride Of Barbel has an Escort, but takes my Rover every chance she gets- like today, for example! Which means I have to pick Son Of Barbel up from school in the Escort
1982 Ford Laser Ghia. It was a 1.5 litre four, five speed manual, and despite the fact that it was the top of the range "Ghia" model, it had no power steering, no air conditioning, manual window winders and mirrors ... oh, and manual pull-out choke. I had it for only one year, and I miss it heaps, despite its shortcomings.
I decided I wanted something bigger, so this was my second car:
It's a 1989 Ford Falcon GL, 3.9 litre in-line six with three speed auto, power steering and air conditioning. I still have it in my garage, but I'm trying to sell it at the moment. I've owned this car for six and a half years now.
I then decided I wanted something more than just a base model "GL", I wanted something more modern and upmarket, so this is my current car:
2005 Ford Fairmont, 4.0 litre in-line six, four speed sequential auto, power windows/mirrors, dual zone climate control, four airbags, ABS, traction control ... list goes on! I bought it six months ago.
I don't know why this sounds funny to me.

At least it was a real Mini, not one of these foreign imitations that are far from mini.
Prior to my first car I had first a Honda SS125 and a few years later a Honda CB250N Super (Wet) Dream, which served me well, but got too old for it, I started to creak and groan.
First car was a yellow Fiat 127, a great colour for finding in massive car parks at the likes of Mildenhall Air Show, I was amazed at how few yellow cars there were - I drove it round the clock. Towards the end I had frustrating problems with the distributor, one after the other, and the head gasket blew just as I was driving into the dealers car park where I had agreed a px.
Second was another Fiat, this time an Uno, I don't know what it was about Fiat distributors, but eventually had to give this one up too.
Third was/is a Citroen Saxo, great fun.
I don't remember the year, all I recall is becoming of age and driving that rumbling beast through the snow.

Power everything? I could've sworn I can see manual wing mirror adjusters in the picture ... although it does look like you have power windows, which is unusual for a car its age. Perhaps it was the top-line luxury model?

Really though, it's almost power everything.
After doing a bit of research, I found that the Stanza was replaced by the Altima, which is a higher-end model. This would lead me to believe this was at least close to top-line. In any case, it was only $9000 brand new (I wonder what the cheaper Sentra was). :O Amazing what they sold cars for 22 years ago, isn't it?
At least it was "vroomy."
Was that you on Sunday night showing off your car to me? You'd peel away from a stop light, spinning your tires and stuff? If not, there's someone else out there who loves their white nissan stanza.
