Good comments..I agree, I was never a collector of cars, but I think this is a great & diverse range of vehicles...who cares if they're not worth anything in 50 years time,I wont be here,7 I am enjoying them now...Carry on collecting..Oo'er Missus!!!:s
The DAF Corvette arrived. Not too great, colour seems dark red, rather than orangey red as I recall it in the film. Same colour as the Cougar from OHMSS in fact.
I liked the ZAZ model but would of liked the engine cover open Jack Wade swinging a sledge at it and bond (Pierce Brosnan )leaning against it that would of been a great model.
The corvette was a disapointment Iwould of preffered Sir Godfey Tibbet with the Rolls royce
(Cubby's own car) with a cheap own used when sunk
Or a 1/43 scale range rover convertible with horse box and plane that would be a good model especialy if the colour was right unlike the corgi versions
Just picked up my latest issue(#38)..case damaged..shop-owner will return it...might wait weeks.:'(...not bad its the first damaged one I have received.:007)

got 38 and 39 yesterday. lambo is a bit pointless but is a great model. I take it that we are gettin more than 40 because the advert for the next issue makes no reference to it being the last.
The 2 issues before the last two. Numbers 36/37. I only received the corvette accompanied by a note saying the other model would come seperately. Did anyone else receive this. Also has anyone heard anything directly about extra models, because I haven't received anything and would have thought they would atleast let you know if it was going to be extended.

What happened to the Daimler Limo? I hope it makes it in the last 5

just checked my credit card account online, i have been charged only £7.99 (1 issue), which will be for issue 40, but i also have a pending transaction for £15.98 (2 issues), so they must be treating the extra 20 issues as a sort of separate collection almost. weird, i'd have thought they'd just continue as they are, charging for 40 and 41 together, then 42 and 43 together and so on, and finally end with issue 60 on its own next year.
yes thats right, i did make my own case for the tank and little nellie, sorry to get you hopes up!
For nellie i used the box from aston martin vanquish, (as i had two) and printed out a pic of the sky to replace the old backdrop. For the tank on the other hand, i had a plastic box from some sweats and printed out a backdrop of st petersburg. because of the tanks size the box has to be about a inch bigger than the real boxes.
Future models-not keen on Jeeps, Range Rovers and Police cars, but do like the Citroen, Bentley and Lincoln.
Ideally with related figures. The strangled villain in the FRWL Citroen hanging out of the doorway. Then with the TLD Land Rover, Tim Dalton hanging on to the canvas roof!
Maybe even Felix Leiter eating his KFC burger in the '64 Ford Thunderbird !
De Bleuchamp.
"You have connections not open to me.
Where is Ernst Stavro Blofeld?" OHMSS.
Just got the FRWL Citroen Traction Avant on my order with Forbidden Planet shop. No. 40.
No. 41 will be CR Mr. White's Jaguar XJ8.
So the series continues.
The figure of Red Grant in the Citroen even has his black driving gloves on.
I keep hearing the musical bells toll in the St. Sophia Cathedral ! Hiding behind the pillars !

i have been following this convo since the start and have subscription to the mag.
here are my pics of the collection so far...
altho i love the collection i hope it does not go no for to much longer, cash and SPACE is becoming an issue!
NYC taxi
LALD
Bond and Solitaire trapped
Pretty sure Bond and Solitaire get trapped in a cab in New Orleans. Bond is alone in the NYC taxi (apart from the driver, obviously).
For nellie i used the box from aston martin vanquish, (as i had two) and printed out a pic of the sky to replace the old backdrop. Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
