The Casino Mondeo is terrific! {[] Like the Alfa 156 you did, it's instantly believable as a JBCC series addition - in other words like the Alfa it's something they had no real excuse for not giving us. And the figure looks brilliant, where did the head and body come from?
Well done on another great Code3. I notice you're not using the JBCC font so took the liberty of doing one for you if you want to use it:

In responce to the suggestions of creating a new forum devoted to Code 3`s, can i offer my own thoughts to this? Since the TBCC is now finished and that the Code 3s have become a natural responce to that, it would appear, to me at least, this this forum has actually become the official page for Code 3 makers and followers. The entire history of the JBCC and now its unofficial continuation is held within it. We all know where it is and in the absence of any future Eaglemoss offerings, I see no reason why we should not continue this forum with the addition of the Code 3 models. I will set up a new Photobucket page and provide the link for you. I will add all new and existing backgrounds to form an easier `one stop shop` for you to find and download them. But i think we should continue this forum as it is. The focus has changed, but the "bond" that holds it together has not.....We still love James Bond cars.
Did I see some where that someone was making a list of any code3 models that has been done? Is so, I wonder if having a separate thread with just these in, so people could find them easier, rather than going through the now nearly 6,000 posts in this thread. We could still talk about them here. I just thinking of a having a clean thread. Perhaps the same for backgrounds, accessories, etc. Just an idea and it might bring more people in to get involved. I can see some might be put off by the amount of posts in this thread to read any of it.
I suggested a different thread for much the same reason but I think the consensus of opinion was to stay with the existing format.
Rather than look through the entire thing I would suggest perhaps going back maybe to about page 150 or so, most of the code3s started appearing around and after about there.
These are all of mine to date; perhaps everyone else could re-post theirs collectively with page references too, if it's not too much trouble:
Tony can you size this to fit the standard box. Keep the image as is but alter it to fit the box so the perspective looks correct
Cheers Diecast007
Is this for the Lada 2105, the Lada 1500 or the Aston.? i`m just thinking of the people in the scene and what cars were there, I know the Aston was`nt because Bond is on that tram. Or maybe its the car John Ryes Davies arrived in and i dont know what that one was. Cheers.
IXO have shown a Jaguar XJ at Nuremburg Toy Fair... So we nearly got it in the JBCC I guess. Will be interesting to see if when it comes out it is correct for a Code 3.

The Lada 1500 , I have made a duplicate Lada 1500 before it was cut horizontally in half by Bond. Just need the background as is really as I thought it would look good with the other police car in the background. A bit of artistic license with this one . As the car was in the film but not in this scene ? ?? Cheers Mark Ps how are you getting on with the Senator insert

This is a great car and another we should of had for Jbcc . I for one will have this on my shopping list for code 3. Hope Eaglemoss are reading these and realising what a mistake they made cancelling . Already us code 3rs have produced more than a dozen feasible issues, some of which are better than the blunderbirds that were in the collection

All done. The Living Daylights to follow. No wonder they stopped at 134, though I assume they had more the one guy working on these backgrounds. Phew!!

I just recently started collecting diecast James Bond cars. I am very new to this, but I am very amazed with the way you have displayed these cars, not only in the display cases but also with designed background and base. Where can I buy these type of cases with designed background and base.
I have two models, which are Aston Martin DB5 & Lotus Esprit Submarine by AutoArt 1:18. I need a case with matching scenario background.
Can you please guide me and teach me...I'm willing to learn from you.
Also, I'm currently looking for a AutoArt model number is 70021 1/18 DB5 James Bond with gadgets and roof panel, preferably mint in box.
If you know someone who is willing to sell or have one and are willing to let go, please contact me through PM along with your selling price.
OR if you know where I could go to find it, I would appreciate your navigational tips. BTW, I have already been keeping an eye on eBay & Amazon. No luck over there
The Bond Car Collection Fabri, is quite good, although it is true that if every month manufacture two new models, never end, in Spain are impossible to find and get to me a friend of mine.
I leave you some pictures of my collection, I hope you like

Hi kanada/Murad
The models discussed in this thread are from the James Bond Car Collection partwork, and are all in 1:43 scale, so the cases you see here would be too small for your 1:18 scale cars.
To get some background to this collection discussed on this thread, check out the page on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond_Car_Collection
diecast007 - XJ has to be an XJL in black and I couldn't see from the angle if it was a standard wheelbase model or LWB. ALL the code 3s are better than the blunderbird... And when you add Tony's excellent backgrounds they certainly do show what jbcc could have done. If they had been clever with the dioramas they could probably have sold those without cars for the £7.99 each if they chose crucial scenes like Bond fighting Kleb in hotel bedroom, Kerim and Bond spying on the Russians, Blofeld in many of the showdown scenes etc. 200 would probably have been easy. I would be surprised if Batman runs in UK beyond a year or so I would copyright your backgrounds Tony in case they decide to start again.....

Yes I agree , an XJ L would be better. Yes all of the code 3,s are better than the blunderbirds when I said some I was talking about my selection though happily take 'all' as a tick that I am doing something right .
I have a few more waiting in the wings and hopefully a vanish which I have commissioned with a special Fx company in Glasgow. If successful I might get a few made and offer them for sale on here . Watch this space ? :-)

How`s this for a money saving idea and a comical addition to your Code 3`s....Leave the "Vanish" display box empty!! Or have i been hunched over Potoshop so long that only I see cars that are`nt there!?!

Diecast007 has already tried that one, Tony. But we all saw through it. Boom boom.
BTW has anyone other than me noticed that Eaglemoss back orders are dearer than they were when they were on the other site 99p and not 50p each... Just getting a V8 Aston to donate stuff to make a plain one as already done here... There was me thinking you chopped the skis off.... Oh well should be easy enough to panel that in...
Last week I was looking at the new JBCC issue and was shocked to see the milk float instead of the Louisiana State Police Bel Air I expected. I somehow mixed up the release order and thought I had missed the Bel Air ... ;%
Didn't buy the milk float as the two available were damaged - one had one of the front indicator/parking lights mounted upside down, so not really damaged but less than perfect. And the other had a terrible scratch on the roof. I thought I'd wait a week and look if they had sold and replaced with better finished examples. I hope that the cars I have on back order will arrive in good condition ...
So, finally I bought the milk float yesterday, and it is sad that I can feel that the end is near.
From the next issue, the Bel Air police car, I will buy three - one to convert into Sheriff Pepper's car and the other into the cream-coloured Louisiana State Police version seen in the film (was this an authentic livery?) - and that will be it, my last purchase. Maybe I'll add the Skyfall DB5 when I see it but for now I am not planning to.
Can anyone with a Blu-Ray read the text within the star? I've tried with the DVD but it's too blurred. SHERIFF is clear, and the smaller text above is probably J W PEPPER.
Below that to the right is PARISH but I can't read the left side. I think it starts with F or P (and maybe ends with TOWN). The list of Louisiana parishes doesn't have a matching one (FRANKLIN?) but the name could be made up for the film.
Boys, I'm counting on you, don't let me down - throw in your LALD blu-rays and please tell me which parish Sheriff Pepper comes from. A high-res screenshot from the star would be a big help to recreate the artwork.
Tony thanks for the new back grounds will make up the Lada one this evening and post later
Cheers
Oh thats nice. LOL. If you stare at it long enough, you actually begin to see the outline of the car. I think i need a job where i`m not airbrushing cars out of the shot! Nurse!....the screen!!
and the other into the cream-coloured Louisiana State Police version seen in the film (was this an authentic livery?)
Yes and no. The 1972 Chevrolet Bel Air Police Package demonstrators were painted that color (which means I'll bet the 1973's were also...and by the way, here's one for you...Sheriff Pepper's Impala isn't a police package at all! Only three of the Bel Airs were, including the one that the partwork includes.). If you obliterate the Louisiana State Police markings on the all-beige car, you actually get a unique "salesman's vehicle". I'm guessing EON couldn't mock the car up quickly enough to be in full Louisiana State Police livery, knew it had a minor role anyway, and just put it into action.
