photo 1 is the completed odd 911 background car in DAD
2 & 3 donor vehicles for my attempt at the Land Rover Crew cab from Skyfall
4, 5 &6 almost complete Cougar, I know it's a 1968 not a 69 as in the movie but this is the closest model I could find
More to come and of course I have to get going on the dioramas
Hi DDenis, glad you like the models, I am working on about 20 at the moment, I wish I could just finish one at a time! lol
I will post new pics soon. Working on a bunch from the ice race scene from OHMSS I think I remember someone else posting a large diorama from that race, do you remember when that was? I would love to take another look at what they did.
Thanks for the info on the Dino, for now I'm going to stick to movie vehicles only.
Here are some new vehicles and some updates on ongoing projects;
The cougar is almost done just need the lic plates, three ice race cars from OHMSS, the Defender Crew cab is coming along and a new peugoet 604 from NSNA just arrived.

Hello Canuck007
These are great, well done! Love them all. You've obviously spent a lot of time on these.
Hello have not been on this for along while ! I got a letter from Eaglemoss asking if I wouldlike to buy one of 200 completed 1/8 scale DB5 at the sum of £1500 !!! Still no word on Bond in motion collection. Was on holiday in Norfolk this year and at Miniature world they have the original collection on display in full. If you haven't been its certainly worth a visit for all things diecast, trains, etc etc.
My own project is a 1/10 scale RC Land rover Defender from Spectre. will post photos when I complete
I'm finally starting to put all the pieces together and actually finish a project, here are a couple of completed dioramas, hope you enjoy them. I decided to make the name plates red on the code 3's to set them apart from the stock items.
Ford Cortina from Never Say Never Again, I used the Taunus from TSWLM switched it to right hand drive.
Congratulations Canuck007, a lot a work and very good models !!
I will for sure take few ideas form our models in the future....after all works in progress at home.
My Kit car is nearly finish, so I will have more time to spend on smaller models. )
Cheers.
Hi everyone, as I work away on a number of code 3 projects I was wondering, who came up with the idea of adding models to this collection as fan based, homemade, code 3's. I remember reading many posts dealing with people's wish lists but does any one remember what the first code 3 was and what page it could be found on?

Re. my post from the end of March this year, I see that the website of the Italian partwork version of "Bond In Motion" has now disappeared.
I never did see on eBay an example of the 1/43 Spectre DB10 that was supposed to be the third subscriber gift in that partwork, so I wonder if Eaglemoss ever made it in the end?

Hi Fact, thanks for looking into that, it's a bit slow here at work lately so I have been looking at some past pages as well. Check out page 67 you'll find a photobucket of Daniel Leyvraz, I remember seeing his work and thinking it was amazing, especially the work on the figures.
Here are some updates on current projects, on a funny note I am finally finished my version of the Renault turbo. Hope you like them
Hi again, well I have been doormat for a couple of years, but now I'm on a roll. My wife is not too pleased with me as I have taken over three rooms in the house, paint, photo paper and small cars all over! I told her it was for Queen and Country, she didn't get it!
Here are a couple of new additions.
Finally finished the Casino Royale Bedford
Check out this NEO model of a Daimler Majestic Major, it may be the nicest 1/43 model I have ever seen! I have another NEO that I am going to put with this one and two other vehicle to make up a scene, but I won't tell you yet, maybe someone can guess? I hope it turns out nice and does justice to those awesome NEO models.
Nice to see new 007 models still being created, well done Canuck007 {[]
Still looking forward to seeing DDenis's extension of the original series getting to Issue 200, when he gets a chance.
In my previous post I mentioned the disappearance of the website for the recent Italian equivalent of the "Bond In Motion" partwork. On Facebook on Christmas Eve I saw a post by Eaglemoss for what (I assume) is now a full launch of the partwork in Italy as the "James Bond Auto Collection": http://www.007auto-collezione.it/
The magazines appear to have a format similar to "Bond In Motion" (although on the subscribing page it shows the old Fabbri magazines & models in the same order of Issues 1 - 10).
So basically, the models and the subscriber gifts are exactly the same as the original GE Fabbri "James Bond Car Collection", at a cost of €14.99 for Issue 3 onwards.
So no 1/43 DB10 after all ... unless it still turns up sometime down the line!
Thanks for the compliment FACT. I checked out the Italian site, at least they still have a picture of the DB10 so maybe there is hope!
Here are some recent projects, I think the 1967 Casino Royale scene is my favorite one so far the models, especially the NEO ones (Daimler and the Cadillac) are amazing.
Whilst in WH Smiths, just wasting a bit of time, I noticed the magazine diecast collector, and on the cover was the DB5 from Goldeneye. I had a quick look through and it said that Corgi was releasing some models in 2017, the DB5, DB10 and the Lotus Esprit from TSWLM.
All due for release in June/July

Yes, the new Corgi range for 2017 was announced today (4th) and they are reviving their 1/36 James Bond castings for 2017:
CC03803 Aston Martin DBS - Casino Royale
CC04311 Aston Martin DB5 - Goldfinger
CC04513 Lotus Esprit - The Spy Who Loved Me
CC04603 Gyrocopter Little Nellie - You Only Live Twice
CC06805 Rolls Royce Sedance de Ville - Goldfinger
CC08002 Aston Martin DB10 - Spectre
All have new product numbers, but I presume there will at least be new packaging to distinguish these from the previous releases.
Nice work Canuck007. I think it's time I watched that '67 film again.
Hard to believe it's been ten years since the original JBCC collection launched in the UK ... and I still haven't tracked down a Vauxhall Velox, possibly the easiest Code 3 of them all !!
Well done Canuck007, a lot of good work.
I have tried to follow all Code3 since the beginning and you have participate a lot in all code3 collection.
Please find here a magazine made form 'my' own Renault 5 turbo and for all "Never say never again" movie.
If I can manage all house stuff, I will make other code 3 this year.
Cheers.
Yes, quiet bussy also for me , as I have a lot of other projects...
But I have some model on my desk. (and also a Millenium Falcon, from Altaya...!!)
What means all of that (which is just a way netween us) :
(from page arround 261...)
CODE 1: Models produced totally by the manufacturer.
CODE 2: Models that have had logos and/or extra detail applied by a secondary company under licence, usually for re-selling or gifting as small promotional runs.
CODE 3: This is the refinishing or alteration of a model by adding new logos, repainting, adding more detailed finish usually by model enthusiasts for their own use. And new models just created by enthusiasts fan !
CODE 4: new models just created by enthusiasts fan !, not related to James Bond. I have created some movie models, based on the same way as JB collection.
One of my last project, work in progress, not finished :
Hope to see many news on JB & movie cars here..
Cheers.
Cheers that makes all these codes very understandable.
So then some of the photos above of code 3's of James Bond cars are extra vehicles not done by manufacturer ? correct and the official list still stands at 134 vehicles in the 1/43 scale

Hello Tonz
Yes, I've done a number of code 3s, not just from the Eon films but Casino Royale (1967) and NSNA. Others have done the same.
I've also created cars from the novels and comic strips - over 100 at the last count (I know don't say it........... I have enough withering looks from my wife ) )

Waiting for the finish job. My projects are moving slowly on my side, but 4-5 models on the 'table' ...

Hello all
It's been a while, but I do pop my head around the door occasionally.
Out of interest, where did you get the NSNA merc from? I've been after one for years and never seen one!
I've got a couple of new models that I need to post. I'll try and get around to it sometime soon.
thanks
Steve

Certainly a lot of water under the bridge since then!

Being ignorant and maybe to old for all that you guys are doing, can someone please explain what exactly are code 3, code 4 etc etc.
Hello Tonz
Yes it has been very quiet here. Everyone waiting for the 1/43 DB10 to arrive!
As far as I know a code 3 is a model that has been altered without the manufacturers consent - not illegal.
Some one did do a list of the difference between code 1, 2,3 etc. but was many pages ago. I can't recall what a code 4 was.
Yes, quiet bussy also for me , as I have a lot of other projects...
