That's true as the Tuk Tuk is really a glorified motorbike.
It'd be great to see the Octopussy Range Rover with Bianca behind the wheel and the diorama could have Bond in the back of the villians truck befor he pulls the parachute ripcords - now that would look cool - or even better if they did it in a special presentation pack with the horsebox and the Acrostar jet.
I agree with all of the above... but wouldn't a milk float be pushing the boundries of a "car" collection a little too far?
Not at all. The Moon Buggy, the Tuk Tuk, the Malyshev T-55 and the Little Nellie gyrocopter are all far less "cars" than a milk float and yet they're all in the collection so far. As well as those there are several 4WDs too which some would argue are not strictly "cars" either. On top of that, still to come we have the Leyland Sherpa van that Jaws drives to the pyramids in Egypt in TSWLM. There is plenty of precedent for having vehicles that are not cars. There is no reason at all why they shouldn't produce a model of the milk float.
The models I actually like the most are the most unusual ones. The ones you would never be able to get a model of any other way than in this collection. By that I mean the damaged ones and ones with unusual accessories mounted on them. Examples like the Mini Moke, Renault 2CV, Lotus submarine, Mercury Cougar with skis, Lotus with skis, Tuk Tuk, Moon Buggy, Malyshev T-55, Little Nellie, the hearses, the DB5s with weapons and the Leyland Sherpa van. Even the Zaz 965A is one of my favourites because it's so unusual.
I would never have got a model of any of them without this collection, and that makes them especially interesting to me. I would like to add a milk float to that list.

I agree 100% with that statment... and I guess in retrospect that you are correct about the milk float being a possibility. But I would also like to see one of the 2 Audi's that 007 drives in The Living Daylights too.
I think it would look great. Also, I know we have had so many DB5's, but I would love to see the Goldeneye and Casino Royale versions too. They already have the castings so it wouldn't be that much of an expense to add a couple more to the collection. Does anyone feel the same?

Couldn't agree more... after all that is the 1 car that people consider to be THE Bond car so why not make some more of them.
Yeh, the mondeo would be a nice addition. I know it was only in the movie for a moment but I really liked that scene. I'm really looking forward to the new DBS QOS. Its only recently I found out its a darker grey than the CR version. Should look cool with the door missing.

Speaking of CR are we getting a model Mondeo?
No we arent getting a mondeo apparently. which is a shame because im a huge mondeo fan.
I don't want anymore DB5s especially if there isn't something unique about them. I'm also not interested in modern cars that only exist in the movies as product placement commercial assets like the Mondeo. Just as in full scale real life, modern cars are intensely boring and dull. The models (to their credit) reflect that, in that they are just as boring. Flush fitting glass, hidden wipers, screen antennas, faired in mirrors and colour-coded bumpers. In a model of such a car, what is there left to look at? It's a shiny painted lump of Zn/Al alloy with some wheels on the bottom.
On the other hand I am really looking forward to the Leyland Sherpa van and issue 70 of the BMW 518 police car. I really hope the Sherpa van comes in a severly damaged mode maybe with the roof ripped off by Jaws. That would be awesome.
Yes it would look good if the van had the side pannel missing and a model of jaws tearing it off as well as Bond and Anya in the van... I hope they get it right and it's Anya driving it and not Bond.... can she play any other tunes (on the gears/women drivers!
On the French forums they seem to be speculating (not for the first time) that the collection has been canceled. Due to that fact that we have been seeing less and less from eBay of upcoming issues.
I wouldn’t get two worked up yet, as I say this isn’t the first time that they have said this, but how annoyed would you lot be if we don’t get anymore after the Toyota Crown (56)?
maybe they simply have been able to fill the leaks in China.
As much as I have liked the "previews" I could never understand, that obviously some suppliers did their very own thing.
With tracking back the ebay sellers I am sure, that the black sheep can be easily found.
If they stop with 56, I would be sad but not desperate, but if they do more, I'd be happy, if they could do more important cars and not these sub-minor appearances from the past.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I just received replacement issues 16 & 48 today. Both undamaged this time. So now I have three magazine holders and the extra base I need to make a decent diorama for the Malyshev T-55 Tank. All I need is another issue 31 (the DAF moon buggy) to get the extra high acrylic case cover and I've got everything I need to make a real good T-55 diorama that the tank won't look oversized in and squeezed for room.
I'll get on to servicing the front wheels of my new issue 16 Lotus so they turn freely like I did with the Xenia Onatopp Ferrari F355 tomorrow. I rather made a hash of it with the first model, but now I know better and won't make the same mistake twice!
I got 54 and 55 in the post today. as ever both top quality! Dodge Monaco detail is great.
This was my first real look at the Chevrolet impalla due to the lack of pics. I Think it looks really good apart from the characters. for some reason they just look far to small in this issue, much smaller than we have had in other issues.

i got mine yesterday. good models once again. like the detail of the dents in the fuzz car!
Now I have seen this is WH Smiths and the model cases are very similar to the 007 car collections and the tanks in this series are 1:72 scale so I don't know if they'd be big enough for the Goldeneye tank... but it might be worth looking into. Also I don't think that these models have a diorama - I think they're just in a plain case.
As my tank model is in storage can someone tell me what the size of the tank is so I can try and find out if the case is big enough???
Hi,
I subscribed to the collection at number 20 - untill know I have only received 1 free gift (the Renault taxi).
Anyone with the same experience? What should I do? I mailed them already several times.
Thx

I would have to agree with you about the customer service Fabbri. They are very helpful.

You make it sound as if they send in a double-o to find and eliminate the double agent. )
So which one is this - is it the DBS from QoS?

There is a partworks out at the minute that is all different models of tanks throughout the ages. The website for it is here:

In the words of Homer Simpson: "doh!"
Oh well, there goes another great plan!
