Hi Everyone,
Just received the latest addition to the car collection - "The Range Rover Convertible" from Octopussy. It is in another of the larger type display boxes and looks great. Sorry I haven't listed any photos this time but there are some great photos of this model on page 80, sent in by 'MovieCarFan'.
What I can tell you however, is that the next model in the series - No.100, will be the "Ford Crown Victoria" from Casino Royale. As always, can't wait for the next issue...

Happy collecting. )
A wee bit disappointed on the selection for #100..thought they would have given us one of the more unusual vehicles from a Bond movie..but still only 10 more to go???.....Or is it!!! ) ) ) -{ :007)
What does it matter which car is issue 100? As long as we get interesting cars I don't care which car has which number.
I received 10 cars last week - issue 88 till 97. A friend of mine picked them up for me while he was in the UK. I'm very happy with them!
He also brought me issues 1, 2, and 4 till 6 of the James Bond's DB5 magazine, including the 'poster' which shows the actual size of the model. When I first saw the website I already thought the model would be huge, but now that I've seen the actual parts and the 'poster' I'm sure of it! From January 2011 I still have 85 weeks to find a place to put the model...
GE Fabbri will have to send issue 3 in January, since I never got it (and back then they were out of stock, probably because it was a test run).

I think it does matter as it is a milestone in the collection. This collection as we all know originally was to be 40 issues. Who would have imagined it would continue a further 70 issues into 2011. I started my collection before my little boy was born in 2007 and it will finish a few months before he starts school!!! Issue 100 could have been made a very special issue but alas albeit an interesting model it is a missed opportunity for GE FABBRI to reward the subscribers and celebrate the milestone with a really special edition. I am still waiting for issues 96 - 99. I telephoned the helpline and they assure me i should receive them this week. They also confirmed the collection will finish at 110 so 11 more to go or 15 in my case.
I do hope the LALD AEC Regent Bus makes an appearance though i suspect it will make way for another surprise car not listed.
I agree with issue 100 being a mile stone and would have been nice having something unusual for number 100. I was hoping for bus or the Bondola.
I see that the list on Wiki has been updated and the Routemaster bus has now been dropped and the Ford Econoline from Diamonds are forever has appeared. I think the bus could have worked if it was after the top was off.
I also, noticed that there is a 4th gift listed as the horse box from Octopussy. If this is the case then I think it was a mistake not having the tow hook on the Range Rover. I'm sure some on here would have liked to make up a case and background with them both.
I know Wiki is not a defining list and only a rough list.
I was watching Live and Let Die at the weekend and couldn't help thinking a model of one the boats Bond drives through the swamps would be good or even the boat that ends up going up the shoot at the end as that looks fantastic.
I'd still love to see the Kenworth truck (the tractor unit anyway) and the decapitated bus, in preference to some of these five !! Fords listed on wikipedia in the model range 100 - 107.
The end is nigh ... aaaaargghhhhh!
Well OK, 11+ models to go ... originally that was over one quarter of the collection!
It does appear the best has been released now, going by the remaining mostly unexciting selection proposed (why the ZIL??), although I am looking forward to the chase damaged QOS Aston.
I still can't believe in amongst 110 models there isn't a 'bad guys' Mercedes to go with the Goldfinger Aston. Isn't that one of the most famous Bond car chases of the lot?
Maybe they'll make a huge one to go with the new partwork DB5.
hello everyone - first post but long time lurker im afraid...
i was wondering if anyone has a total of the models by case size?
like a few people here im thinking of building a display for my collection but as i only have about 60 of the cars i dont want to start without knowing all the different sizes...
i work on rhinoman's three case theory... (standard size, high size and long size)
do you know if there is a total number of cars by case size at all??
Leave it with me and I'll see what I can do.
Of course, there is still 11 or so models to be issued so it won't be 'final' ... but it will give you a 'starter for ten' as Bamber Gascoigne used to say [who he? Gazza's Dad?]

rhinoman - that is really really useful.
thanks for taking the time - although if you are like me i dont need much of an excuse to get my cars out and take another look at them....
OK , this one for sale by seller ZiL 117 as seen in CASINO ROYALE . Not listed as James bond but made by UH could this be a hint of a future edition possibly.
That's the Bentley from From Russia with Love (issue 64), so the seller is giving wrong info.
Thanks just realised that have edited post but ZIL looks good though. Having a quiet word with myself over Bentley how could i forget that one it was 30+ issues ago though almost a year and a half. LOL :D
Thanks for that. I was just about to look for another set but hopefully this will work out a little cheaper.
Cheers.

LTK has been largely overlooked..which is a shame..**** movie..but some great cars -{ :007)
I've just discovered that these models exist. As a huge James Bond fan here in the States, this is a great find. I'm not sure how the subscription works since I'm coming to the game quite late, but I'll probably buy a number of these models individually. Speaking of LTK, I haven't heard any mention of the Lincoln Mark VII LSC that Bond drove around in Florida. With such obscure models already available, it would be nice to see this car produced since Bond actually drove it. Would anyone else like to see this one?
Just spoke to lovely lady at JBCC she says there is a delay in sending out issues 98 & 99, so anyone who has not rec'd them, they will be sent asap. -{ :007)
Oh, to be a multi-millionaire........................!!!!
That James Bond lookalike... dear me.
Actually you'd think one of the Bond actors might snap it up. Then again, not sure Danny Craig is getting silly money yet for Bond. That's the thing, the hold up must be doing him out of a good few million bucks that would otherwise have come his way by now. Still, good on Harry.
Is this the scene where Zorin and Mayday push the Rolls into the lake? If so, does it come with a dead Tibbett and an unconscious Bond? And shouldn't the Rolls be pointed towards the water?

...and Oxford Die-cast make a 1:43 CA milk float, but it would need a bit of fettling and a re-paint......
The Bentley Special seems to be a much rarer beast - maybe 'Brumm' made one like it 8-)

Standard Box: 88
High Box: 7
Long Box: 4
No Box at all (gifts): 2
To be confirmed: 13
Total = 114
Of course, that assumes GE Fabbri stop the collection at No. 110
Cheers,

fingers crossed for an extension to the 110!
