To be honest, we're not completely sure of the last eight OR nine. However, it might be the following...though the order could be completely wrong...
102. Bondola (MR)
103. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II (LTK)
104. 1959 Ford Consul Mk. II Saloon Government Car (DN)
105. ZIL-117 SWB Limousine (CR)
106. 1971 Ford Econoline Window Van (DAF)
107. 1989 Ford Bronco II (QoS)
108. 1964 Ford Galaxie Country Squire Station Wagon (GF)
109. 1973 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom Coupe (LALD)
110. Aston-Martin DBS w/crash damage (QoS)
Okay, here we are...opinions please? The car still sits too high, but we have the whitewalls, the track is narrower as are the tires themselves, and the wheels look much less "dragster-like."
A vast improvement! Looks very good now. Would not have cost Fabbri a fortune to improve the master model like this.
Did you have to modify the baseplate to make the track narrower, or is it just that the wheels are too wide?

First off, thanks very much! I still need to work on the whitewalls as mentioned because the rear two were pretty faded to begin with (I tried correcting this by literally swapping out one front wheel and one rear wheel to balance the look of the car).
I did have to modify the baseplate, but not for the reason you mention: you have to widen the channels for the Solido axle ever so slightly (NOT too much; in fact, you could probably get away with just widening the slots holding the axle in place and then tap it through with a plastic-headed or rubber-headed hammer). However, other than that, no modifications are needed. The reason the track improved so much was because the wheels simply jutted out so badly on the UH model. On the Solido, the track was completely correct 1/43 scale.
As an aside, whilst I was ripping the scrapyard-condition Corniche apart, I couldn't help but notice that the entire front of the car (fore of the windshield) seemed identical to the UH. If they mould-shared those portions of the car as I suspect they did, why not just use the Solido axle width as well? The model would've come out far nicer and likely had correct ground clearance, too.
cant wait till i get my db5 built looks amazing but got 2 buy 2 of them for me and my boy and had to collect two sets of the cars as well but i would be bothered if they gave u cars u couldnt get likea couple of trainsor even the jet fighter instead u get 3 and 4 of the same cars like astons or white lotus why not subs that would be great then u wouldnt mind going to 120 or even 130 for ones u cant get
I have a strange requests, does anyone have a large case they have surplus off, the same size as the Ford Crown Victoria Police car?
I know some of you take the models out & I'm hoping you don't sling the cases because I need one for a project, I'm considering ordering a back issue one, but then Id have a model I don't need.
Here's hoping.
i foned the company up i am sure they said a train in the last 9 but he said it was out of diamonds r forever does anyone know cheers
Er...to be honest, I don't think so, as all of these models in this collection are 1/43 scale. (Except the free tank) Can you imagine the size of the case?
If you want subs & planes, it would be easier to get the same model elsewhere & custom make them to match the films in question.
That's my opinion anyway.

Maybe "Ford Econoline Van" sounds like a train if said fast enough .... ?
I am still waiting for 100/101..fone them 4 times...said they were posted.. & they made no comment about the "anglia" when I asked....that might not happen now???? -{ :007)
KINGsMODEL, the seller on eBay that usually has pics before anyone else does, sent out pics of the LTK Roller. Still nothing on the Bondola, although recall that Ixo's past few models haven't been available to the Hong Kong and Chinese dealers whilst UH's have.
Good one there m8, but you can't bash UH alone. Just take a look at ány 1/18 scale, mostly american 50's or 60's model car. Antenna's look like flagposts...

Agreed 100%. The easy thing to do on 1/43 scale models is a VERY simple Code 3: cut off the antenna, measure how long it is, cut a length of stiff, steel wire the same length, and then superglue it to the where the plastic antenna used to be. It might take some getting used to if one hasn't done it before, but two or three times in, you should get the hang of it.

Another technique used by airfix modellers is to cut a piece of waste plastic , heat with a match and pull . The melted plastic will produce a nice length of antenna which can be cut to length, painted a nd glued to model.
On another note just been on ebayand somebody is selling 'Bondolas' PREORDER at £19.99 plus pand p. Magazines are extra.

Takes longer to get used to, but this particular Code 3, if you can master forming the antenna (it's very difficult), gives you some more leeway for color options and you don't have to use superglue. You can also stretch it so thin that it becomes very realistic looking as an antenna. But whatever you do (and by "you" I mean anyone who hasn't tried this before), do this at least three or four times before attaching one to a car.

Without naming names, I know who this is. He used to sell in batches of three and was also pre-selling Ford Consuls, ZIL-117's, and Ford Galaxie Country Squires when they were rumored to be the model after the one that was to be released. Not sure how that worked out...
And speaking of Code 3's, I finally touched up the whitewall tires on the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II from TWINE. What say you guys? Does any more work need to be done regarding the wheels (also, you get a better sense of how high off the ground the car is in these photos)?
Guess what the Collection web site has wiped all trace of the telephone number. Maybe they are fed up with calls about missing back numbers or even calls for back numbers. Anyone else get a delivery with an IOU note for the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud? I'm wondering how much later it will follow along.
BTW that improved Shadow is excellent but I bet that you will have to do most of it all over again when next Shadow appears.
Bondola looks good! Seems the case is same length as the long ones, but a little higher.
On a side note, another delivery today, and yet another cracked case. 92/93. Not sold on the Hovercraft. Too green, like the Tank. A little bit of muddy paint would have been great.
I actually quite like the hovercraft (arrived yesterday!). It feels heavy in the hand, like a real die-cast should - I had feared it might be too plasticky. Mine too arrived with a cracked case though. In fact, almost all of my deliveries have one model with a cracked case, so I have by now accumulated quite a few of spare models in imperfect packaging... What I don't like about the hovercraft is the headlight. Why is it orange??? I will try to think of a way to fix this, but as it is painted there is only so much you can do. I have applied some mud to my tank and then sprayed it with a matt varnish. It certainly looks better now.
When I wrote to Bissett Mags to ask for a replacement I asked for an update on the remainder of the collection. Here is what they said in reply:
"Below is a list of planned issues to the end of the series. The Publisher is planning 110 Parts in this collection.

No mention of any change to the frequency of releases, so we may be slowly catching up with our Pommy friends!
Related to previous posts, here's a photo of the real DAD hovercraft at The Bond Museum for reference if you're thinking of enhancing the paint job - thought it might help
Thanks! The photo nicely shows some details, but it's not that great when it comes to colour. The magazine enclosed with the model has some decent pics too, but it's probably also good to rely on the actual footage from the movie itself. Somehow I do not remember Bond putting on a "007" sticker below the headlight before speeding off! )

I suppose...after all, Fabbri has been billing it merely as a "Ford Econoline" with no "van" or "window van" or "club wagon" suffix.

LOOK AT THAT ANTENNA!:s
That's 1 thing in a long, lóng list of modifications...
I don't recall the scene in LTK where they demonstrate the smoothness of an idling Rolls-Royce engine by balancing a baseball bat on the trunk lid ...
