om99...welcome to the thread! Now, to answer your questions...
"what number is this model?"
This is the prototype for number 103; the Ford Bronco II from QoS.
"and which magizine and car are being replaced?"
The Ford Anglia, which had an error on the base stating that the car was featured in FRWL as opposed to DN. However, now that Universal Hobbies and GE Fabbri are having problems, my guess is that UH is only obligated to fix the bases and not provide new cars. That would fall to Ixo, who has become the new manufacturer. However for all we know, although Ixo has the correct moulds for the 105 Anglia, they may not want to be bothered to make a new car. Ultimately, while I see the base being replaced, the car itself being replaced is basically a toss-up.
Can't wait to see the Bronco and diorama, plus confirmation on the next vehicle... I'll be on here ever hour til someone receives it
My latest 2 turned up on Tuesday, Kawasaki and Benz Binz Ambo, and as usual a case was cracked, the Binz. I'll email, but didn't hear back from my last broken case quiery last month, so not sure if they are still here for us in Aus... ?:)
I've put the latest additions on my site below.
They are still here! Just got my replacement hovercraft - cracked again, they said they would send another replacement. The Binz and the Kawasaki arrived OK - surprisingly. The IXO cases seems to be more resistant - thicker plastic?

Oh, earlier last year i had some work men in my house and had to put all my cars in a box but they dropped my box and most of my car cases were broken so i rang up GE Fabbri and asked them to send some cases out they did what i asked so you should call them to see if you could buy some for your broken car cases!
"so does that mean that it IS getting replaced or is it just a rumour?"
Fabbri said it was getting replaced with a new car and magazine. Then came the problems between UH and Fabbri. Fabbri still says it's getting replaced, to my knowledge, but UH doesn't seem to be producing cars for Fabbri anymore (that responsibility having fallen to Ixo). Right now, everything is just speculation.

Both of the issues with larger cases (La Salle Hearse and Binz Ambulance) that I have received recently have been cracked. Had no problem getting the hearse replaced, however it arrived packaged in the plastic bag as per usual- previously the replacement issues I have received were packaged in a cardboard box or sleeve. I wish they would package all issues this way.
I received a response to my request for a replacement for the Binz the day after I sent it.

I was thinking that it must be the new long cases...Not looking good for the Crown and Bondola :v
Just emailed, so hopefully I hear back. Altya was great last time I emailed, but just didn't hear back last month.
Looks like I may have just been lucky with my IXO models. I probably have had at least every third model replaced due to cracking - just storing the extra ones takes so much space!

Welcome to the JBCC forum! Re your various questions, we are not all ignoring your posts(!) although some of your questions have been answered and discussed previously (more than once!). However, as there are over 2,400 posts that could be a problem finding the older messages, although the search function does work pretty well.
Dalkowski110 is a mine of information (as usual!) and, indeed, so is everyone else, it's a very friendly forum. As far as the display cases are concerned, I've been tracking these. Up to issue 101, the quantity of different box types (including the 3 free gifts) are as follows:
Standard Box: 89 ; High Box: 7 ; Long Box: 6 ; plus 2 free gifts which were unboxed. The box sizes/dimensions are in my post #1916 - click on this link: http://www.ajb007.co.uk/post/465127/#p465127
As you say, issue 102 + 103 are due any day now for UK subscribers and issue 102 is the Bondola which also looks like a long box, see Arronax's post: http://www.ajb007.co.uk/post/479873/#p479873.
I'm dreading it, hate the idea of the blooming thing! Surely it won't be to 1:43 scale??
"I'm dreading it, hate the idea of the blooming thing! Surely it won't be to 1:43 scale??"
I think it came out to about 1/50 scale. If one does the calculations for 1/43 scale, it's only 25 feet long. On the other hand, it's about right for 1/50. Of course, it could be (as some seem to suspect) a hybrid with a 1/50 scale body and 1/43 scale driver's/operator's compartment.
Someone (not me) also did the calculations for the DAF Moon Buggy and supposedly found that that was 1/58 scale!!! To be honest, in a lot of the Universal Hobbies issues, they appeared to be doing what I like to call "Dinky Toys Scale Math"; i.e. let's get it close to our intended scale (in the case of Dinky, that was 1/48 until the early 1960's), but if we're off by a bit, who cares? Take, for example, the FRWL Bentley and MR Hispano-Suiza. While both cars are quite well done and scaled well when compared to themselves, they're also barely passable for 1/43 (though I should note that the Hispano-Suiza is at least passable on a 1/43 scale diorama or layout...the Bentley, unfortunately, is not). The one advantage about Ixo is that, with every product I've purchased from them, even if it isn't exactly 1/43, it's either REALLY close or they started out with imprecise measurements to begin with. Of course, Ixo is also notorious in JBCC circles for giving us ONE figure for all of its cars (The gal in the Range Rover Convertible from OP; I guess we'll have to see if that changes or not with the Bronco, though I doubt it), so it really depends on whether you value the car (in which case, Ixo all the way) or the diorama (in which case, I would say that the mid-to-late UH dioramas were much better and offered pretty good cars, as well, at times). Thus, because I value the car and like playing around with my own dioramas, I prefer Ixo. However, I warn you: the Ixo dioramas are really going to disappoint. Fortunately, with UH's recent disasters regarding their Rollers' dioramas, I don't think we're losing too much as a result of losing UH. But I'm going off-topic...
"Dalkowski110 is a mine of information (as usual!)"
I think the Bronco has been postponed, or at least put back a few weeks. This forum, http://www.forum-auto.com hints at it, and the wiki page has also been changed to "coming March 2011".
"I think the Bronco has been postponed, or at least put back a few weeks."
Can you post the exact link in the forum? I was unable to find it. As for "March 2011," that's only two days away. To be honest, I see a delay of a few days or possibly a week, but my guess would be that everything's finished and it's just a slowed-down shipment they might be having issues with.

However, I could only find messages that said the Bronco was due to be issued w/c 21st Feb (i.e. this week 'cette semaine' and 'Prochaine sortie vers le 23 février (?) = la Ford Bronco II de "Quantum of Solace" ') but saw nothing about it being delayed until March?
On that same page, I liked the decent mods someone had made to the Moon Buggy display and also the Bronco pix were good.
At least one eBay UK seller who regularly sells the JBCC issues & had the Bronco on offer has now closed the auction as "item no longer available", which kinda confirms that the issue has been delayed
It's been delayed, to be sure, but the question is "how long"? The key to me over on the French forum is this...and I'm going to try and give a literal translation, though my French isn't all that good...
"This week's Ford Bronco was postponed."
That's all the guy says. He doesn't go into details, for how long, where he got the info, etc. Just that one sentence. He also seemed surprised that it was postponed, which would of course indicate he got his info from another source. The question then is "what source did he get said info from?"
My guess would be an eBay dealer; possibly even the guy FACT actually linked to would be a possibility. It wouldn't be the first time, as though I've dealt with him and gotten excellent stuff, I also have gotten the same "this model is delayed" only to have it be a week late or so (the Mercedes-Benz Binz Europ 1100 Ambulance being an example I can cite directly). Ixo is, as I mentioned a number of pages ago, notorious for delays, and these include last minute delays. LOTS of them. Any collector of Ist Models, Ixo Classic, and Ixo Museum will back me up, I'm sure. And of course, the inexplicable 1-week or 2-week delays involved with both ambulances, the longer delays with the hearses, etc.
Basically, Ixo is just slower and probably less capable of meeting its deadlines than UH, which is my guess as to why Fabbri tried sticking with UH as long as they could, despite getting two Rollers that looked more like street racers than luxury cars and a deformed Ford Anglia. As James John Smythe pointed out a number of pages ago, Fabbri is a profit-driven company. And in a profit-driven company, time is money. While Ixo collectors are used to the delays, JBCC collectors aren't. Hence why I think the eBay sellers are saying "this model is delayed." Watch. In anywhere from a week to two weeks, you'll suddenly see them arrive, and they'll have turned out to have been late. At least in my opinion. If that's NOT the case, then we know Fabbri could simply bump up the already (unfortunately) existing LTK Silver Shadow II to buy Ixo some time. Then the Ford Bronco II would be released as usual.
Also, on rcforum.ru, I found it interesting that the USSR AvtoLegende partwork has catapaulted the ZIL-117 all the way up to issue number 61. This is pretty odd; changes in the order of USSR AvtoLegende DO NOT happen very often. Remember, Ixo is making ALL of these cars. Currently, we're on Issue 53, the ZAZ-968M "Zaporozhets," with Issue 54, the Izh-2125 "Comby", due out in early March. The ZIL-117 should in other words now be released by late June with the production of the final cars completed by mid-late May. Even if we stick to the existing schedule, the Bronco II comes out on, let's say March 5; giving them an extra week. Four weeks later, on April 2, you have the Ford Consul. This would give the ZIL-117 a release date of April 30, or almost exactly when the pre-production prototypes for USSR AvtoLegende should be finished. And that's not even allowing for Ixo's usual 1-2 week dawdling around doing nothing AND the already-existing LTK Roller, which Ixo may very well use as a "crutch release" to buy time in which to complete one of their more complex designs. Some very interesting possibilities out there, although like I said, if this is more than a week or two due to a run-of-the-mill Ixo delay, I'd be surprised.
