What do you think about the prospect of Paul Haggis re-writing the script of Bond 22. Are you for or against it?
It appears that he is not involved in the film...yet, according to the article below.

I agree. If P&W can scrape together a bit of Fleming from, say, the rumoured material---and have Haggis mop up behind them---I like their chances for repeat success.
I eagerly await Dan Same's petition drive to prevent Haggis from getting anywhere near the next script

I would be very interested to know exactly how much of a re-write Haggis did to Purvis & Wade's script for CR. Original reports suggested that Haggis was going to be spending three weeks on the script. In the end I think it was nearer three months.
I thought I saw someone bidding on Divine's pedestal on ebay---it was ostentations, certainly...but hardly fitting for a Bond script |)
In all seriousness, this question is all about relativism. Haggis has his share of detractors---as does anyone who's ever written for the screen---but CR was the best Bond script in a long time, IMO.
Was it P&W? Was it Haggis? Was it Haggis mopping up after P&W...or just adding a bit of relationship/dialogue fourish? I don't honestly know. What can I say? It worked for me.
