Bond's Wardrobe in License to Kill

I enjoy finding and wearing some of Bond's clothes they use in the films. I even have a Rolex and Persol sunglasses.

I've been trying to locate a shirt similar to the one Dalton wore in the Key West scenes in License to Kill. It was a long sleeve cotton affair with two flap breast pockets. Also trying to find the jacket (or is it a shirt jacket?) he wears over this. It looks like it's navy blue. Anything close to these two would be fine. I have the dock shoes he wore in the scenes.

I've researched on the web and the closest I can find to the shirt are the types made by some resort wear and travel wear companies. No luck in getting the info from the film company.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have been interested in that jacket since I saw LTK. All I can tell is that it seems to have two bellows breast pockets and is made of a leightweight material, rather than a suiting material.

Have you any screen caps of it?

With regards to the shirt, I would imagine a standard pilot shirt would suffice, and there are plenty of these on the market at the moment as the military look is in. Well, it is in the UK.

Thank you for your advice. I did not notice breast pockets on his Key West jacket..I thought I saw two button flap pockets on the bottom of the jacket though. I found clothes similar at a company called TravelSmith (TravelSmith.com). One is a lightweight jacket (item #8758 Men's microfiber travel coat), though it seems to have standard jacket lapels, as opposed to the small high collared ones featured on his jacket in the film. A shirt they sell seems close to the white one he wears beneath it (item #7180 in their online catalogue), though it does not come in black (it looked to me as though he wore the same shirt in the bank interview sequence only in black). As for the pilot shirts, they usually come with epalets (which the shirts do not have in the film) and most are usually made of a heavier fiber. It looks to me as though Dalton's Florida apparel is purposely made of very lighweight cotton - as well as his jacket, because of the climate. I believe they chose to costume him with the lightweight jacket only so he could hide his shoulder holster. I've found out who did the costuming in the film, but have yet to figure out how to contact them.

    Thanks!

Keep me updated with whatever you find out. I've wanted that jacket for nearly 20 years.

I'm still after one. I found this jacket. Does anyone want to put there neck on the line and say whether this is the one?

I hasten to add that I draw the line at buying Bonds Y-fronts, and therefore cannot comment on their make or model. Bet Bondtoys knows the answer though :v

It's not it. The jacket in the movie has different shaped lapels, 3 buttons instead of five and different styled pockets. The movie jacket also has wrist straps, wheras this one doesn't. Sorry...

Now that we see a new axis of evil, have you been asking your new pal Asp9mm, why his underwear only exists in kid's sizes? :D
