Maybe now this will put the arguememnt to rest that that wasn't Catwoman in the final shot as I've seen some posters on other sites believe it was.
I wonder who that was in the back round dressed mostly in white.
Looked like the thieves in clown masks at the start of TDK, or possibly the hostages disguised as clowns. I suppose it could be a sign of the Joker's influence even after his incarceration in Arkham(I assume he's not getting out).

Here's some pretty spoilerish pics of Batman and Bane going at it. Bats looks pissed off in a few pics, Bane must have stepped in his light or something.

Yeah, Nolan has stated that he won't even go there with the Joker after Ledger's death. The most reference we viewers might get is an acknowledging of the character in a conversion or something like that.
Now that I know Bane is closing out the trilogy, I hate that Jean Paul Valley wasn't introduced in Begins to bring us to this point but just like in the comics, Valley's too complex a character to have incorporated in what is already very multi-layered screenplays for Nolan's Batman.

I thought some of you might find this interesting. Be warned, some very minor spoilers are involved:

Here's the first pic of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman:
I was impressed with the early production stills on this third one until I saw this. Can you say "sucks"? Batman Returns version was alot more faithful to the look.
Looks like a hokey version of Emma Peel more than Catwoman. And what's with those goggles?

Actually, to me she looks like Lady Gaga at her most conservative; but I'm not surprised--I can't imagine Chris Nolan going for cat ears and a tail. Frankly, I thought she might even be dressed in a business suit throughout the movie! At any rate, it's better than that Halle Berry monstrosity. . .

A few more pics. This isn't Anne, but it's her Stunt Double:
I guess Nolan never saw Scarlett Johansen's getup in Iron Man 2. 8-)
A little disappointing but, as HB said, hardly surprising given Nolan's sensibilities. As for it being better than Halle Berry's outfit, it may be more functional, but Halle's had some advantages to it.
Was disappointed when I heard the Catwoman character was in the film, was disappointed again, when I heard Anne Hathaway had the part, and my first view of Anne in the Catwoman outfit once agan leaves me disappointed.

In an interview conducted after the above picture aired Anne Hathaway said that we haven't seen 10% of the final catsuit so there may yet be hope for something a little more inspired.
Long story short: We'll get to see six minutes of the movie attached to the new Mission Impossible movie. Read the article for further details. No spoilers attached to the article.

Hilarious! And to be serious, it's being widely reported that Dark Knight Rises is absolutely the final Bat-film for both Bale and Nolan, and that the movie closes out a trilogy (all but apocalypse is being reported). Bet it all depends on the box office. . .

Bale was actually just quoted as saying he finished filming and removed the cowl for the last time. He says this was it for him and Nolan with Batman.

EON should do the obvious and offer Christofer Nolan Bond #24. He is British, probably the best action director int the world, his favourite film is Goldfinger and he REALLY wants to make Bond film. Now he might find the time to do so.

That would be neat, though he hasn't strayed far from Warner Bros. in his career. Perhaps he would step away for a Bond project.
I can't see EON giving Nolan a shot at Bond. In addition to their typically shying away from famous directors, I'd be inclined to think he'd want to do a BIG Bond movie and that just doesn't seem to fit EON's model these days.
With regard to the Dark Knight Rises, the most interesting tidbit of info I read recently (straight from Nolan so it is 100% legit) is that
the film takes place 8 years after the events of The Dark Knight.

I guess I should start posting links to stories I've read. On another forum I frequent some stories have been linked to. I hesitate posting them here because I want to be sure there's actual fact to the story. I hate to mis-lead people. I've read at least two different scenarios that will be featured in the 6 minute trailer that will be featured with the Imax release of Mission Impossible 4. Lastly. I quoted TonyDP because in his spoiler he mentions something. I've also read the same thing. I believe it to be true as it will complete the trilogy.

EON has traditionally avoided famous directors, but Sam Mendes is famous and he is making Skyfall right now. I`m not sure what you mean by a BIG Bond movie. Big budget or big as in bombastic, like TSWLM? If you ment bombastic I suspect the franchise is moving gradually in that direction with Skyfall being a step on the way. If you ment big budget I`m sure Nolan`s name alone will make it easier to finance the movie. Anyway it seems like folly to me not to use the best action director in the world, especially since he is British and a huge Bond fan.
