Oddjob Hat on Ebay

Finally! I have imported five really wonderful, high quality Oddjob hats, even better than the SD Studios version, and posted the first on Ebay. Bond collectors (come on Leo and Markus) can e-mail me directly for a small discout at vivlempereur at hotmail dot com. Have fun, and hope that you enjoy my latest offering! Tom

Not to be picky but the dimensions of your hat seem to be a bit off....if it is the same one for $800 on Ebay...the original was made by Lock & Co. and it was a Coke Bowler with flat top....Lock used to make these up until three years ago and will be starting production of these again in October. The brim was un-coaxed as well on the original and on Locks and the height looks to be about a full 2 inches higher than yours....perhaps it is just the angle to which you took the pics. Can we see some side pics laying on a table?

Yes, shoot me an e-mail address, and I will take more pics and send them to you. I will also try to post them onto the Ebay listing. Thanks, Tom

I have taken some new shots and posted them on the Ebay listing. Hope this helps. remember, the top of the original Oddjeb hat flattened out due to the weight of the metal ring. If you look closely at the DVD, as we did, you will note that 2-3 different types were used, one for flying, one static, and one to wear, without the ring. The ones pictured with Sakata for promos were different versions too! There is even one with rivets to hold on the ring! The SD Studios one, by comparison, has a very flat top to begin with, and that is not the version that was originally used- there is a slight dome to the one that Oddjob holds in his hands right before breaking the statue at Stoke Poges. Anybody who sees this hat in your collection will marvel at it, and it WON'T have cost you $95K! Hooray!
